Abstract

Suatu perusahaan membutuhkan pengendalian kualitas dalam proses produksi untuk menjaga kualitas produk yang akan dipasarkan kepada konsumen agar sesuai dengan spesifikasi yang diinginkan. Salah satu metode pengendalian kualitas yang sering digunakan adalah diagram kontrol. Dalam penelitian ini diterapkan diagram kontrol fuzzy U berdasarkan transformasi fuzzy mode dan diagram kontrol demerit pada pengendalian kualitas produksi pipa besi di PT. Pacific Angkasa Abadi, dengan data yang digunakan yaitu jumlah produksi pipa besi yang cacat pada periode Desember 2018 hingga Februari 2019 untuk tiap unit pemeriksaan. Penerapan diagram kontrol fuzzy U dan demerit menunjukkan bahwa produksi pipa besi belum terkendali secara statistik. Dari hasil analisis, dapat disimpulkan bahwa diagram kontrol demerit memberikan kinerja yang lebih baik dibandingkan dengan diagram kontrol fuzzy U, karena terdapat lebih banyak subgrup dengan nilai dari diagram kontrol demerit yang lebih kecil dibandingkan dengan nilai dari diagram kontrol fuzzy U.

A company needs quality control in the production process to maintain the quality of products marketed to consumers, ensuring they meet the desired specifications. One quality control method that is often used is the control chart. In this study, a fuzzy U control chart based on fuzzy mode transformation and a demerit control chart are applied to the quality control of steel pipe production at PT. Pacific Angkasa Abadi, using data on the number of defective steel pipe production units from December 2018 to February 2019 for each inspection unit. The application of the fuzzy U and demerit control charts shows that steel pipe production has not yet been statistically controlled. Based on the results of the analysis, it can be concluded that the demerit control chart provides better performance compared to the fuzzy U control chart, as more subgroups show smaller values under the demerit control chart than under the fuzzy U control chart.
