Abstract
Pembakaran limbah adalah cara yang dapat secara signifikan mengurangi volumenya. Metode ini memiliki tingkat kebersihan yang tinggi dari keberadaan bakteri, dan mengurangi bau karena proses pembusukan. Namun, pembakaran limbah yang tidak terkontrol adalah sumber utama polusi udara, termasuk asap, dan gas berbahaya. Dalam studi ini, kami telah merancang dan merealisasikan sistem kontrol polusi udara berbasis scrubber basah menggunakan metode kontrol logika fuzzy yang diterapkan pada microcontroller Arduino Nano. Sistem ini menggunakan sensor gas semikonduktor timah oksida untuk mengukur konsentrasi gas hidrogen sulfida, dan pompa air yang dilengkapi dengan nozzle untuk menyemprotkan air. Hasil pengujian sistem wet scrubber spray tower berbasis kontrol logika fuzzy didapatkan bahwa konsentrasi gas hidrogen sulfida, karbon dioksida, dan asap hasil pembakaran pada incinerator mampu berkurang masing-masing hingga 94,7%, 76,7%, dan 53,6%, dengan konsumsi energi listrik terendah. Pengukuran TDS pada wet scrubber spray tower dengan kontrol logika fuzzy diketahui mengalami kenaikan sebesar 208 ppm. Pengukuran tingkat keasaman air sebelum dan sesudah proses scrubbing terdapat perubahan dari nilai pH sebesar 6,81 menjadi 6,32 yang mengindikasikan bahwa polutan bersifat asam. Sistem wet scrubber spray tower berbasis kontrol logika fuzzy ini mempunyai efisiensi daya yang lebih tinggi dibanding dengan yang tanpa kontrol.

Waste burning is a method that can significantly reduce its volume. This method has a high level of cleanliness from the presence of bacteria, and reduces odor due to the decay process. However, uncontrolled burning of waste is a major source of air pollution, including smoke, and harmful gases. In this study, we have designed and realized a wet scrubber based air pollution control system using the fuzzy logic control method applied to the Arduino Nano microcontroller. This system uses a lead oxide semiconductor gas sensor to measure the concentration of hydrogen sulfide gas, and a water pump equipped with a nozzle to spray water. The results of testing the wet scrubber spray tower system based on fuzzy logic control found that the concentration of hydrogen sulfide gas, carbon dioxide, and smoke from combustion results in the incinerator was able to reduce up to 94.7%, 76.7%, and 53.6% respectively, with lowest electricity consumption. TDS measurements in the wet scrubber spray tower with fuzzy logic control are known to increase by 208 ppm. Measuring the acidity of the water before and after the scrubbing process changes from a pH value of 6.81 to 6.32 which indicates that the pollutant is acidic. The wet scrubber spray tower system based on fuzzy logic control has a higher power efficiency compared to those without controls.
