Abstract

Telah dilakukan kajian geokimia organik CBM-1 Lapangan Rambutan, Formasi Muara Enim, Cekungan Sumatera Selatan melalui metode ekstraksi, fraksinasi dan identifikasi struktur biomarka menggunakan Kromatografi Gas-Spektroskopi Massa (KG-SM). Keberadaan biomarka n-alkana rantai panjang, nilai wax index 0,4 dan senyawa 1,2,5-TMN mengindikasikan sumber bahan organik berasal dari tumbuhan Angiospermae. Dilaporkan juga adanya senyawa hopana dan ergostenena sebagai indikator masukan dari bakteri. Rasio Pr/Ph sebesar 10,25 dan senyawa 1,2,7-TMN memberikan informasi lingkungan pengendapan terestrial yang oksik. Nilai CPI sebesar 2,87 serta analisa isomer biomarka hopana dan alkilfenantrena memberikan informasi sampel belum matang. Karakteristik geokimia melalui analisa biomarka menunjukkan bahwa CBM-1 Muara Enim cenderung menghasilkan gas (gas-prone) dan gas metana dalam batubara (CBM-1) terbentuk melalui siklus karbon pendek pada tahap diagenesis.

The study of organic geochemistry of CBM-1 Rambutan Field, Formasi Muara Enim, South Sumatera Basin have been done through extraction, fractionation and biomarker structure identification using GasChromatography- Mass Spectroscopy (GC-MS). The existence of biomarker long chain n-alkanes, the wax index value of 0,4 and 1,2,5-TMN indicate that the source of organic material is from Angiosperm plants. There are also reports of hopana and ergostenena compounds as indicators of input from bacteria. The Pr / Ph ratio of 10,25 and 1,2,7-TMN provide information on the oxic terrestrial depositional environment. The CPI value of 2,87 and the isomer analysis of hopane and alkylphenantrene provide information that the sample has low thermal maturity. Geochemical characteristics through biomarker analysis showed that Muara Enim CBM-1 tends to produce gas (gas-prone) and methane gas in coal (CBM-1) formed through a short carbon cycle at the diagenesis stage
