Abstract

Leisure activity has become major business in current era. Indonesia with its large number of population offers high variety of event. New options and experience have been offered to the market to fulfill market demand and satisfaction. Latest research of leisure activity shows satisfaction level of live event attendance has been overwhelmed by technologies and information of digital streaming. Experience simulation which described as digital platform experience has become core to virtual reality. The development of 360-degree video become the main attraction to virtual reality. The keyword of immersion become aspect to observe in creating 360-degree video. Various research investigate that combination of 360 degree content and head mounted display has impact on user satisfaction level. In order to measure the usability of 360-degree video in participants, this research considers four factors i.e. presence, cognitive, enjoyment, and similarity. Result found are intended to measure acceptance level of 360 degree video as a digital platform of alternative option compared to live event. Event observed in this research are limited to sport and music entertainment. The results show that satisfaction level between two experience shows that there was no significance difference. Thus, there are difference found on level of enjoyment and cognitive between two type of experience. Many participants stated that VR have high level of similarity with Live event. Similarity aspect is measured through colour, shape, size and audio. Hence, in both experience, participant satisfaction level and duration of experience are still affected by disturbance within the event.
