Abstract
Kompleks ion logam Ni(II) dengan ligan 2-(5,7-dibromo-2- oksoindolin-3-iliden) -N-fenilhidrazinkarbokatioamida berhasil disintesis dengan perbandingan mol logam dan ligan 1:2 dalam etanol. Hasil sintesis kompleks diperoleh padatan kristal berwarna jingga. Kompleks menyerap sinar UV-Vis pada panjang gelombang 426 nm. Hasil karakterisasi spektroskopi inframerah (FTIR) menunjukkan terjadinya ikatan pada ion logam nikel dengan ligan tridentat melalui atom oksigen, nitrogen dan sulfur. Hasil analisa spektroskopi massa dan spektroskopi serapan atom menunjukkan kompleks yang terbentuk memiliki rumus molekul Ni(L)2. Rumus molekul kompleks Ni(II)-(7) yang terbentuk didukung dengan data analisi termal (TGA). Hasil analisis TGA menunjukkan jika tidak terdapat air kristal dalam senyawa kompleks. Uji antikanker in vitro pada sel kanker serviks HeLa dengan metoda MTT memberikan nilai IC50 sebesar 265,83 µg/mL.

Ni(II) complexes of thiosemicarbazone schiff base with isatin/5,7-dibromoisatin were synthesized with mole ratio of metal and ligan 1:2 in Ethanol as a solvent. Complex synthesis results obtained orange crystalline solid. Complex absorb UV-Vis light at 426 nm. FTIR characterization result indicate ligand that behaves as an O,N,S terdentate. Result of ESI-mass spectral and AAS analysis shows the complex formed has the formula [Ni(L)2]. The molecular formula is also supported by the TGA data. TGA analysis results showed there was no water in the crystaline complex compound. The cytotoxicity test complex compounds made by the method of (3(4,5-dimetiltiazol-2-yl)-2,5-difeniltetrazolium bromide) (MTT) and the IC50 value of complex obtained 265,83 µg/ml.
