Abstract
Keberadaan potensi wisata pada suatu daerah dapat menjadi daya tarik yang mendorong wisatawan untuk mengunjungi daerah tersebut. Pengembangan Pariwisata Indonesia mengacu pada Peraturan Pemerintah Nomor 50 Tahun 2011 yang memproritaskan tentang Rencana Induk Pengembangan Kepariwisataan Nasional Tahun 2010 – 2025 (RIPPARNAS). Berdasarkan peraturan tersebut, diperlukan elemen pendukung kepariwisataan untuk mendukung pengembangannya. Menghadirkan sebuah TIC yang difungsikan sebagai sarana distribusi informasi terkait potensi yang dimiliki daerah, merupakan salah satu bentuk dukungan dalam mengembangkan pariwisata suatu daerah. Khususnya Kabupaten Sidoarjo, merupakan daerah berpotensi wisata yang membutuhkan pengembangan dalam hal penyebaran informasi wisata daerah. Menciptakan desain TIC berkonsep pengenalan sejarah melalui eksplorasi potensi Sidoarjo dalam bentuk penyajian informasi berteknologi canggih dan modern dapat dijadikan solusi yang tepat. Metode desain yang dilakukan meliputi pengumpulan data secara langsung maupun tidak langsung. Survei lapangan pada beberapa TIC di kota yang berpotensi wisata dilakukan sebagai studi pembanding. Wawancara dan analisa kuesioner juga dilakukan untuk mengetahui jumlah masyarakat yang mengetahui fungsi TIC maupun untuk menentukan kebutuhan wisatawan dan ketertarikannya pada TIC. Studi literatur dari berbagai sumber, baik buku, internet, maupun jurnal dilakukan sebagai data pelengkap. Pemilihan konsep Historical Recognition and Modern Smart Technology dimaksudkan untuk mengenalkan sejarah kerajaan di Sidoarjo melalui eksplorasi potensi wisata daerah, serta menyesuaikan ketertarikan masyarakat era modern ini terhadap kemajuan teknologi dan gaya hidup yang sedang tren. Selain itu, penyajian informasi diterapkan secara modern dengan lebih memainkan interaksi dan pengalaman pengunjung. Aplikasi pada interior TIC berdasarkan konsep historical recognition yaitu melalui elemen interior dinding dan lantai yang dibuat bercerita, serta pembagian area mengikuti alur cerita sejarah. Sedangkan konsep modern diaplikasikan sebagai nuansa keseluruhan pada ruangan, dan smart technology ditunjukkan sebagai media utama penyajian informasi pada TIC.

The existence of tourism potential in an area can be attract the encourages of tourists to visit the area. Indonesian Tourism Development refers to Government Regulation Number 50 of 2011 which prioritizes the 2010-2025 National Tourism Development Master Plan (RIPPARNAS). Under the regulation, tourism supporting elements are needed to support its development. Presenting a TIC that functions as a means of distributing information related to the potential of the region, is one form of support in developing tourism in a region. In particular Sidoarjo Regency, is a potential tourism area that requires development in terms of disseminating regional tourism information. Creating a TIC design with the concept of introducing history through the exploration of the potential of Sidoarjo in the form of presentation of sophisticated and modern technology information can be the right solution. The design method that is carried out includes collecting data directly or indirectly. Field surveys on several TICs in cities that have the potential for tourism are carried out as comparative studies. Interviews and questionnaire analyzes were also conducted to determine the number of people who knew the functions of the TIC and to determine tourist needs and their interest in the TIC. Literature studies from various sources, both books, internet, and journals are carried out as supplementary data. The selection of the concept of Smart Recognition and Modern Technology is intended to introduce the history of the kingdom in Sidoarjo through the exploration of regional tourism potential, as well as adjusting the public interest of this modern era towards technological advancements and a trendy lifestyle. In addition, the presentation of information is applied in a modern way by more playing the interaction and experience of visitors. The application on the TIC interior based on historical recognition concepts is through the interior elements of walls and floors that are made up of storytelling, as well as the division of areas following the historical storyline. While the modern concept is applied as the overall nuance of the room, and smart technology is shown as the main media for presenting information to the TIC.
