Abstract

Di PG Gempol Kerep dibutuhkan pesawat pengangkat untuk mengangkut bahan sisa produksi untuk memindah abu ampas tebu ini dipergunakan chain conveyor. Namun di PG Gempol Kerep didapatkan rantai yang digunakan pada chain conveyor sudah banyak berkarat sehingga menurunkan efektifitas dari chain conveyor. Dalam buku ini akan dibahas tentang perhitungan chain conveyor meliputi pemilihan rantai utama,daya yang dibutuhkan,poros,pasak, rantai dan sproket penggerak poros juga bearing. Untuk mencapai tujuan tersebut diatas maka dilakukan studi literatur dan observasi lapangan. Setelah itu dilakukan pengambilan data dan melakukan perencanaan. Perencanaan yang dilakukan meliputi jenis rantai yang digunakan, kecepatan konveyor , besar sproket rantai utama , panjang rantai utama , perencanaan rantai dan sproket transmisi, perencanaan poros, pasak dan bantalan. Hasil perhitungan menunnjukkan Conveyor ini memiliki panjang rantai 56,7 meter dengan kecepatan 75 m/min menggunakan rantai nomor DK11150UF, roller jenis S, attachment gk 2. Dari data perhitungan diperlukan daya sebesar 18,005 kW , dengan rantai transmisi no 140 besar sproket besar 72 cm putaran 16,02 rpm dan sproket kecil 12 cm putaran 100,125 rpm menggunakan poros berbahan baja nikel khrom molibden (JIS G4013 SNCM 08) panjang 900 mm dan bahan pasak baja nikel khrom molibden (JIS G4013 SNCM 01) dengan jenis pasak square dengan lebar 25,4 mm juga menggunakan bearing double row cylindrical roller bearing dengan diameter dalam 100 mm.

In PG Gempol Kerep, a lifting aircraft is needed to transport the remaining production materials to move the bagasse ash to the conveyor chain. However, in PG Gempol Kerep, the chain used in the chain conveyor has been corroded, reducing the effectiveness of the conveyor chain. In this book, we will discuss the chain conveyor calculation, including the selection of the main chain, the required power, the shaft, the peg, the chain and also the shaft drive sprocket. To achieve the above objectives, literature studies and field observations were carried out. After that data collection and planning are carried out. The planning includes the type of chain used, speed of the conveyor, large main chain sprocket, main chain length, chain planning and transmission sprocket, shaft planning, pegs and bearings. The calculation results show this conveyor has a chain length of 56.7 meters with a speed of 75 m / min using a chain number DK11150UF, roller type S, attachment no 2. From the calculation data, the power is 18,005 kW, with transmission chain No. 140 large sprocket 72 cm 16.02 rpm rotation and small sprocket 12 cm round 100.125 rpm using shaft made from molybden nickel chrome steel (JIS G4013 SNCM 08) 900 mm long and nickel chrome molybden steel, key material (JIS G4013 SNCM 01) with square key type 25 width, 4 mm also uses double row cylindrical roller bearing with a diameter of 100 mm.
