Abstract

PT. X merupakan perusahaan yang bergerak dalam industri percetakan dokumen niaga. Produk yang dihasilkan perusahaan tersebut antara lain, tiket permainan, smart card, serta dokumen-dokumen lainnya. Smart card merupakan salah satu produk yang dihasilkan oleh PT. X dimana jenis produknya antara lain digunakan untuk perbankan, perkantoran dan lain-lain. Proses pengendalian kualitas produksi smart card tersebut dilakukan dengan inspeksi 100% di setiap tahapan prosesnya. Walaupun demikian belum jaminan untuk mengetahui bahwa hasil pemeriksaan tersebut sudah valid, untuk mengetahui bahwa proses inspeksi 100% telah valid perlu dilakukan analisis kapabilitas dengan menggunakan Military Standard 105E setelah proses inspeksi. Jika proses kapabel maka inspeksi 100% dikatakan valid. Penelitian ini dilakukan terhadap lot yang ditolak selama dua fase untuk memeriksa kapabilitas proses hasil pemeriksaan 100% oleh perusahaan dengan Military Standard 105E, sehingga dapat diketahui perlunya validasi atau tidak. Hasil yang diperoleh ialah pada fase pertama indeks Ppk% sebesar 0,2988 yaitu kurang dari 1 dan pada fase kedua proses tidak terkendali secara statistik. Hal tersebut menunjukan kedua fase tidak kapabel sehingga pemeriksaan 100% yang dilakukan perusahaan tidak valid.

PT. X is a company engaged in the commercial document printing industry. The products produced by the company include game tickets, smart cards, and other documents. Smart card is one of the products produced by PT. X where the types of products, among others, are used for banking, offices and others. The process of controlling the quality of smart card production is carried out with 100% inspection at each stage of the process. Even so, it is not guaranteed to know that the results of the inspection are valid, to know that the inspection process is 100% valid, capability analysis must be carried out by using Military Standard 105E after the inspection process. If the process is capable, 100% inspection is said to be valid. This research was conducted on lots that were rejected during the two phases to check the process capability of the results of 100% inspection by companies with Military Standard 105E, so that the validation needs to be known or not. The results obtained are in the first phase of the Ppk% index of 0.2988 which is less than 1 and in the second phase the process is not statistically controlled. This shows that the two phases are not capable so that 100% inspection by the company is invalid.
