Abstract

Seiring dengan bertambahnya pengguna kendaraan dijalan raya, kemacetan merupakan hal yang sulit dihindari, Sehingga rekayasa lalu lintas secara otomasi sangat dibutuhkan. Salah satu langkah awal rekayasa lalu lintas adalah perhitungan jumlah kendaraan di jalan raya. Dengan menggunakan teknologi pengolahan citra digital, perhitungan jumlah kendaraan dijalan raya diharapkan lebih cepat dan akurat. Tetapi terdapat kendala antara lain noise yang muncul akibat hujan, karena dapat menurunkan akurasi dari perhitungan jumlah kendaraan. Oleh karena itu, dibutuhkan suatu proses reduksi noise hujan untuk meningkatkan akurasi perhitungan kendaraan. Pada penelitian ini reduksi noise hujan pada video digital dilakukan dengan menerapkan guided filter. Guided filter memiliki keunggulan dalam mereduksi noise antara lain noise salju dan noise kabut. Tahapan dari proses reduksi noise hujan yaitu preprosesing, filtering dan recovering. Uji coba dilakukan dengan membandingkan akurasi perhitungan jumlah kendaraan pada kondisi noise sesudah dan sebelum tereduksi dengan data hujan deras, sedang dan rendah. Hasil uji coba menunjukkan bahwa akurasi meningkat untuk data hujan deras dan sedang. Sedangkan pada data hujan rendah mengalami penurunan. Oleh karena itu, guided filter cocok untuk kondisi hujan deras dan sedang.

Along with the increase in vehicle users on the highway, congestion is a difficult thing to avoid, so that automated traffic engineering is needed. The first step in traffic engineering is the calculation of the number of vehicles on the highway. By using digital image processing technology, the calculation of the number of vehicles on the highway is expected to be faster and more accurate. But there are obstacles, namely rain, noise arising from rain can reduce the accuracy of the calculation of the number of vehicles. Therefore, a rain noise reduction process is needed to improve the accuracy of vehicle calculations. In this study rain noise reduction on digital video was carried out by applying a guided filter. Guided filters have the advantage of reducing noise including snow noise and fog noise. The stages of the rain noise reduction process are preprocessing, filtering and recovering. The trial was conducted by comparing the accuracy of the calculation of the number of vehicles in noise conditions after and before being reduced by heavy, moderate and low rainfall data. The results of the trials show that accuracy is increased for heavy and moderate rainfall data. While the low rainfall data has decreased. Therefore, guided filters are suitable for heavy and moderate rain conditions.
