Abstract

Indonesia's huge maritime potential is one of the superior vision of President Jokowi-Jusuf Kalla's Government with the President's direction to make the sea the future of the nation. (Performance Report of the Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries, 2015). Trivesea Resort is an interesting development concept from the ongoing research study of OCEAN Farm ITS conducted by ITS Marine Study Center using a structure of offshore floating net cages that has a function of fish farming and visitor accommodation that will be widely commercialized. With Pertamina CSR funding, the floating tourism destinations expected to fulfill the concept of Sustainable Community Empowerment, utilize empty space in offshore marine buildings also with Aquaculture education facilities and maritime potential in Indonesia held to tourists through the process of fish cultivation, fish processing, restaurants, giftshop, marine tourism, and lodging. With a variety of facilities that will be implemented in the design, the collaboration role of Interior Designers will be very important to provide the design innovations that could break the building design standards. With the aim of improving the quality of security and comfort of users of offshore buildings.
