Abstract
Daerah Karangsambung merupakan kawasan dengan kondisi geologi yang kompleks hasil interaksi pertemuan lempeng Samudra Hindia‐Australia dengan lempeng Benua Eurasia dalam peristiwa subduksi dan tektonik lempeng yang kompleks. Daerah dengan kenampakan geologi kompleks ini makin hari makin mengalami kerusakan akibat kegiatan penambangan dan proses pelapukan yang sangat cepat. Oleh karena itu pentingnya melaksanakan beberapa upaya untuk menjaga geoheritage yang ada di wilayah Karangsambung sebagai dokumentasi kenampakan batuan yang dapat menjadi panduan pembelajaran kebumian. Penelitian ini berfokus di sepanjang Kaligending dengan melakukan pengambilan sampel untuk dilakukan analisa parameter fisis skala laboratorium serta pemetaan outcrop menggunakan drone. Nilai dari parameter fisis batuan meliputi nilai suseptibilitas. uji suseptibilitas magnetik menggunakan alat Bartington MS2B (Magnetic Suseptibility System sensor B) dual frekuensi yaitu 470 Hz dan 4,7 kHz. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan peningkatan nilai-nilai χLF (suseptibilitas frekuensi rendah) dan χFD% (suseptibilitas bergantung frekuensi). NIlai ini kemudian dijadikan katalog parameter fisis batuan dengan integrasi pemetaan sehingga mendapatkan virtual 3D geology model wilayah tersebut. ===============================================================================================================================
The region of Karangsambung is a complex geological condition that results in the interaction of Indian Ocean Plate meeting with Eurasian continent plates in subduction and complex plate tectonic events. The area with geological complex is increasingly more and more damage due to mining activities and the process of weathering is very fast. Therefore, the importance of carrying out some efforts to keep the geoheritage in the region of Karangsambung as a documentation of rock-sand that can be a guide to Earth learning. The study focuses along Kaligending by conducting sampling for the lab-scale physical parameter analysis as well as outcrop mapping using drones. The value of the Rock physics parameter includes value of density and magnetic susceptibility. Magnetic compatibility test using Bartington MS2B tool (Magnetic Susceptibility System sensor B) with dual frequency, 470 Hz and 4.7 kHz. The results of this study showed the improvement of the χLF values (the low-frequency compatibility) and χFD% (frequency-dependent compatibility). This Value is then used as a catalogue of rock physics parameters with mapping integration to get virtual 3D geology the region model.
