Abstract

PT. Energi Agro Nusantara merupakan perusahaan yang bergerak dibidang pengolahan molasses menjadi ethanol 99,5% dan mengolah hasil samping ethanol menjadi pupuk cair hayati dengan berbasis bahan bakar energi terbarukan. Pada tugas akhir ini melakukan perencanaan ulang instalasi dan pemilihan pompa yang sesuai untuk instalasi pompa cooling tower. Perhitungan head, kapasitas, daya pompa dan efisiensi dilakukan secara analitis dan numerik menggunakan software pipe flow experts. Berdasarkan analisis dan perhitungan ulang, maka didapatkan kapasitas untuk pompa cooling tower dengan kapasitas maksimal 1170 m3/jam dengan head effektif instalasi (Heff) sebesar 34,598 m serta daya penggerak pompa sebesar 171,09 kW. Sehingga dari hasil perhitungan-perhitungan tersebut dapat dipilih pompa Sentrifugal Radial Bertingkat Banyak merk Taki tipe 250 - 50.

PT. Energi Agro Nusantara is a company that processing molasses into 99.5% ethanol. And processing byproduct of ethanol into biological liquid fertilizer based on renewable energy fuels. On this final assignment, the redesign and calculation of the installation and selection of pumps is proper for the installation of cooling tower pumps. The calculation of head, capacity, pump power and efficiency are carried out analytically and numerically using pipe flow experts software. Based on analysis and recalculation, the capacity for a condensate pump with a maximum capacity of 1170 m3 / hour is obtained with an effective head fort (Heff) of 34.598 m and the pump power is 171.09 KW. Thus, the results of these calculations can be selected, the Multistage Centrifugal Pump type 250 - 50 Taki Pump brand.
