Abstract
Populasi lansia di Indonesia meningkat setiap tahun, saat ini persentase pertumbuhan lansia mencapai 8,97% dari jumlah penduduk Indonesia. Seiring adanya perkembangan teknologi dan informasi, lansia saat ini mulai mandiri dalam menggunakan internet, salah satunya dalam menggunakan aplikasi transportasi online. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi desain interface pada aplikasi transportasi online dan memberikan rekomendasi desain interface yag cocok untuk lansia. Grab adalah aplikasi transportasi online yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Pengujian dilakukan dengan menggunakan eye tracker technology. Eye tracker adalah teknologi sensor yang memungkinkan perangkat mengetahui secara presisi di mana mata pengguna terfokus. Pengujian dilakukan pada 10 orang partisipan lansia dengan rentang usia 55 - 69 tahun. Data eye tracker yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu fixation number, fixation duration, saccade number, dan saccade duration. Metode yang digunakan adalah uji One Way Anova. Hasil eye tracker menunjukkan bahwa fixation paling banyak terjadi pada area of interest (AOI) 2 dengan fixation number 616. Fixation duration juga paling besar terjadi pada area of interest (AOI) 2 sebesar 499,60 milisekon. Rekomendasi desain aplikasi Grab berdasarkan data kuantitatif dari analisa hasil eye tracker dan data kualitatif dari hasil interview adalah mempertahankan kalimat sapaan pada area paling atas interface aplikasi Grab, menghilangkan area of interest (AOI) 1, menyederhanakan layanan pada area of interest (AOI) 2 menjadi tiga layanan utama yaitu layanan mobil, makanan, dan motor, menghilangkan area iklan dan promosi serta memperbesar ikon dan tulisan menu pada area of interest (AOI) 3 yang terletak pada bagian paling bawah interface aplikasi Grab.

The population of elderly in Indonesia is increasing year by year. The percentage of elderly growth reaches 8.97% of the total population in Indonesia. Along with the development of technology and information, the elderly have been start to independent in using the internet, such as online transportation applications. This study aims to evaluate the interface design of online transportation applications and provide interface design recommendations that are suitable for elderly. Grab is an online transportation application used in this study. Eye tracker technology are being used by the experiment. The eye tracker technology is a sensor technology that allows the device to know precisely where the user's eyes was focused. Experiment were conducted on 10 elderly participants with ages average 61 years with standard deviation 4,88 years. The eye tracker data used in this study is a fixation number, fixation duration, saccade number, dan saccade duration. One way Anova revealed that the highest fixation number occurred in area of interest (AOI) 2 with fixation number 616 and the largest fixation duration is also in area of interest (AOI) 2 with 499.60 milliseconds. The recommendation for Grab application design based on quantitative data from the analysis of eye tracker results and qualitative data from interview results were to maintain the greeting sentence in the uppermost area of the Grab application interface, eliminate area of interest (AOI) 1, simplify service in area of interest (AOI) 2 to three main services such as Grabcar, Grabfood and Grabbike services, eliminate the advertising and promotion area and enlarge area of interest (AOI) 3 icons and menu items which is located at the bottom of the Grab application interface.
