Abstract
Billiard merupakan olahraga bola sodok bergengsi yang mampu membangun citra posisitf dan mengangkat harkat martabat bangsa di mancanegara. Namun, cabang olahraga ini mengalami penurunan prestasi di tingkat internasional. Hal tersebut dapat dilihat dengan raihan prestasi atlet-altet billiard tanah air. Salah satu faktor penurunan prestasi adalah karena mayoritas pusat olahraga billiard didirikan sebagai sarana untuk rekreasi penghilang stress saja. Bisnis ini cukup menjanjikan dan membuat banyak pengusaha mulai mendirikan rumah olahraga billiard. Pada umumnya rumah olahraga billiard memiliki berbagai macam fasilitas dan pelayanan yang berbeda agar dapat menarik minat pengunjung. Berdasarkan sudut pandang masyarakat awam, rumah billiard menjadi sebuah tempat yang memiliki image negative. Beberapa aspek yang menjadi perhatian utama yaitu minimnya penerangan rumah billiard dan fasad bangunan yang tertutup. Strike Pool & Café Surabaya merupakan salah satu tempat olahraga billiard yang cukup ramai dan sering mengadakan turnamen tingkat pemula. Desain interiornya sudah bernuanasa modern dengan fasilitas lengkap dan jumlah meja yang sangat banyak. Namun, masih diperlukan penataan furnitur yang baik supaya lebih ergonomis dan sesuai dengan standar. Sealin itu, pencahayaan dan suasana pada tempat ini perlu adanya pembaruan untuk menghindari image negative. Berdasarkan permasalahan yang ada, penulis mencoba untuk melakukan perencanaan desain interior dengan konsep yang sesuai. Untuk menentukan konsep, terdapat beberapa metode desain yang meliputi pengumpulan data melalui proses observasi dengan melakukan survei langsung ke lokasi objek sebagai data primer. Selain itu, penulis juga melakukan studi pustaka dari berbagai sumber baik buku, jurnal, laporan dan internet sebagai data sekunder. Melalui tahapan yang telah disampaikan diatas, maka didapatkan aplikasi konsep penerapan nilai Citra Positif untuk menciptakan pusat olahraga billiard yang Rekreatif dan Kompetitif. Melalui konsep tersebut, diharapkan dapat menciptakan sebuah alternatif atau referensi desain interior pusat olahraga billiard untuk rekreasi dan kompetisi yang mampu mengembalikan citra olahraga billiard.

Billiard is a prestigious sports poke ball that is able to build positive image and raise the dignity of the nation abroad. However, this sport has experienced a decline in
international achievements. This can be seen from the achievements of the Indonesian billiard athletes. One of the factors decreasing achievement is because the majority of
billiard sports centers were established as a means for stress relievers. This business is quite promising and has made many entrepreneurs start to build billiard sports houses. In general billiard sports houses have a variety of different facilities and services in order to attract visitors. Based on the viewpoint of ordinary people, billiard houses become a place that has a negative image. Some aspects are the main concern, namely the lack of lighting of billiard houses and closed facades of buildings.
Strike Pool & Café Surabaya is a billiard sports venue that is quite crowded and often holds beginner level tournaments. The interior design has a modern atmosphere with complete facilities and a large number of tables. However, it is still necessary to arrange good furniture to make it more ergonomic and in accordance with the standards. Sealin, the lighting and atmosphere in this place need an update to avoid negative images. Based on the existing problems, the author tries to do interior design planning with the appropriate concept. To determine the concept, there are several design methods which include collecting data through the observation process by conducting a survey directly to the location of the object as primary data. In addition, the author also conducted literature studies from various sources both books, journals, reports and the internet as secondary data. Through the stages presented above, the application of the concept of the application of Positive Imagery is obtained to create a recreational and competitive billiard sports center. Through this concept, it is expected to be able to create an alternative or reference to the billiard sports center's interior design for recreation and competition that is able to restore the image of billiard sports.
