Abstract

In this modernization era, many companies have changed the distribution system from manual to automatic, for example, using conveyor machine power. Besides being able to speed up and simplify the distribution process, this can also minimize errors made by humans when working / human error. The process of recording and monitoring goods can also be done easily by just looking at the LCD display without having to check the condition of the goods at any time. Conveyors function to distribute goods from one place to another. The GM65 QR Code Scanner is placed on the top of the conveyor, so that items that have been labeled with the QR Code when passing through the conveyor can be detected. Then, GM65 sends data and processes it in the Arduino Mega 2560 R3 program. Arduino will activate the relay according to the program, the relay activates the motor on the conveyor, and the conveyor works according to the detected QR Code. GM65 can detect QR Code faster at a distance of 6 cm. GM65 can also detect codes in positions from 00 to 3600. The advantages of this QR Code are 2-dimensional bar codes so that they can be detected in horizontal and vertical positions. 6 The percentage of GM65 success in detecting QR Code is 91.67 % and for the percentage of GM65 errors in detecting QR Code is 8.33 %. The average time for the QR Code grouping process is large goods, medium goods, and small items, namely 13.4 seconds, 14.4 seconds, and 35.4 seconds. GM65 will detect faster when the items detected have a white background.
