Abstract
Keberadaan museum sangatlah penting bagi sebuah bangsa. Selain sebagai sarana edukasi, museum memiliki potensi ekonomi baik dari segi parawisata, maupun dari segi peningkatan kualitas penerus bangsa dalam hal sejarah dan karakter. Sama halnya dengan area publik (public space) lainnya, ada beberapa kriteria ideal yang diharapkan mampu menarik minat masyarakat untuk berkunjung dan melakukan kegiatan di dalam museum tersebut. Teater dan Museum Kelud pun memiliki kriteria ideal yang perlu menjadi sorotan Pemerintah, sebagai satu-satunya museum yang dimiliki Pemerintah Kabupaten Kediri yang sedang mengembangkan sektor pariwisata sebagai upaya menjaga nilai sejarah dan budaya. Budaya dan sejarah Kediri yang mulai terlupakan oleh masyarakat, peristiwa di masa lampau dan peninggalan leluhur perlu di kenalkan dan dikembangkan oleh masyarakat khususnya generasi muda yang dapat disalurkan melalui keberadaan museum. Dengan adanya desain interior museum harapannya masyarakat mendapatkan edukasi sejarah dan secara tidak langsung juga edukasi budaya dengan hanya mengunjungi suatu museum. Berdasarkan analisis yang dilakukan, diperoleh DESAIN INTERIOR TEATER DAN MUSEUM KELUD MENGUSUNG KONSEP INTERAKTIF DAN KONTEMPORER BERNUANSA BUDAYA KEDIRI. Konsep ini diharapkan dapat menjawab kriteria museum yang ideal dan memenuhi standar museum, dan dapat menumbuhkan minat masyarakat untuk berkunjung ke museum, sehingga sejarah gunung kelud dan budaya Kediri tetap terjaga.

The existence of a museum is very important for a nation. Aside from being a means of education, the museum has economic potential both in terms of tourism, as well as in terms of improving the quality of the nation's successors in terms of history and character. Similar to other public spaces, there are some ideal criteria that are expected to be able to attract the public to visit and carry out activities within the museum. Kelud Theater and Museum also has ideal criteria that need to be highlighted by the Government, as the only museum owned by the Kediri Regency Government which is developing the tourism sector as an effort to safeguard historical and cultural values. The culture and history of Kediri which began to be forgotten by the community, events in the past and ancestral relics need to be introduced and developed by the community, especially the younger generation who can be channeled through the existence of the museum. With the museum's interior design, it is hoped that the community can get historical education and indirectly also cultural education by only visiting a museum. Based on the analysis carried out, it was obtained INTERIOR THEATER DESIGN AND KELUD MUSEUM SUPPORTING INTERACTIVE AND CONTEMPORARY CONCEPT WITH KEDIRI’S CULTURE NUANCED. This concept is expected to be able to answer the criteria of an ideal museum and meet museum standards, and can foster the interest of the community to visit the museum, so that the history of Kelud Mountain and Kediri culture are maintained.
