Abstract

MANET merupakan jaringan wireless yang terdiri dari kumpulan node yang bergerak yang memungkinkan untuk melakukan komunikasi secara langsung. Hal ini memungkinkan terjadinya komunikasi jaringan tanpa bergantung pada ketersediaan infrastruktur jaringan yang tetap. Destination Sequenced Distance Vector (DSDV) merupakan protokol routing hasil pengembangan dari algoritma routing bellman-ford. Algoritma routing DSDV juga didasari oleh Routing Information Protocol (RIP). Struktur tabel routing pada DSDV sangatlah sederhana. Setiap entri tabel memiliki nomor urut (sequence number) yang bertambah setiap kali sebuah node mengirimkan pesan pembaruan. Implementasi pada lingkungan MANET dapat dilakukan dengan menggunakan simulasi. Simulasi dilakukan dengan menggunakan aplikasi Network Simulator 2 (NS-2). Pada penelitian ini dilakukan Analisa terhadap performa DSDV di lingkungan MANET dengan energi yang heterogen berdasarkan parameter jumlah node yang berbeda di tiap skenario simulasi.

MANET is a Wireless Network base on walking nodes for direct communication. With this technology we can have a communication without a big infrastructure. Destination Sequenced Distance Vector (DSDV) is a routing protocol that results from the development of the bellman ford routing algorithm. The DSDV routing algorithm is also based on the Routing Information Protocol (RIP). The structure of the routing table on DSDV is very simple. Each table entry has a sequence number (sequence number) that increases every time a node sends an update message. Implementation in the MANET environment can be done using simulation. Simulation is done using the Network Simulator 2 (NS-2) application. In this study an analysis of the performance of DSDV in MANET environments with heterogeneous energy based on the parameters of the number of different nodes in each simulation scenario.
