Abstract

Metode eksplorasi minyak terdapat tiga jenis yaitu primer, sekunder dan tersier recovery. Contoh primer recovery adalah artificial lift dan natural flow, sedangkan untuk sekunder recovery berupa waterflooding. Untuk tersier recovery contohnya berupa EOR (Enhanced Oil Recovery). Salah satu metode EOR yang lebih murah dan ramah lingkungan yaitu Microbial Enhanced Oil Recovery. Metode ini memanfaatkan mikroorganisme yang memiliki kemampuan untuk menghasilkan biosurfaktan, biopolimer, asam, gas dan pelarut untuk melakukan pekerjaan memulihkan minyak residu dengan memfermentasi bahan baku yang lebih murah, misalnya molase. Operasi Biosurfaktan MEOR dibagi menjadi 3 bagian yaitu injection well, reservoir dan production well. Pada injection well dan production well digunakan metode Beggs-Brill sedangkan pada reservoir menggunakan hukum Darcy. Berdasarkan analisa sensitifitas, profit akan meningkat ketika terjadi peningkatan terhadap variabel laju aliran massa injeksi dan tekanan injeksi. Optimisasi dilakukan dengan menggunakan Genetic Algorithm dan Duelist Algorithm. Hasil terbaik optimisasi menggunakan Genetic Algorithm yang terjadi peningkatan profit dari 50626,3 USD/hari menjadi 91292,26 USD/hari.

There are three types of oil exploration methods, i.e primary, secondary and tertiary recovery. Examples of primary recovery are artificial lift and natural flow, while secondary recovery is waterflooding. For tertiary recovery, for example in the form of EOR (Enhanced Oil Recovery). One of the cheaper and environmentally friendly EOR methods is Microbial Enhanced Oil Recovery. This method utilizes microorganisms that have the ability to produce biosurfactants, biopolymers, acids, gases and solvents to do the work of restoring residual oil by fermenting cheaper raw materials, such as molasses. The biosurfactant MEOR operation is divided into 3 parts, i.e injection well, reservoir and production well. In the injection well and production well, the Beggs-Brill method is used while the reservoir uses Darcy's law. Based on sensitivity analysis, profits will increase when there is an increase in the injection mass flow rate variables and injection pressure. Optimization is done using the Genetic Algorithm and Duelist Algorithm. The best results of optimization using Genetic Algorithm, which increased profit from 50626,3 USD/day to 91292,26 USD/day.
