Abstract
Tiara Competency Centre adalah salah satu lembaga yang menyediakan fasilitas maupun sarana pelatihan untuk para calon engineer sebelum memasuki dunia kerja. Tiara Competency Centre adalah anak perusahaan dari PT. Tiara Vibrasindo Pratama. Perusahaan ini bergerak dalam bidang pemeliharaan yang menangani integrasi keandalan aset dan peningkatan praktik bisnis. PT. Tiara Vibrasindo Pratama telah membangun jaringan ahli pemeliharaan dan spesialis pada bidang engineering. Kebutuhan akan pelatihan dirasa penting sebagai langkah awal calon engineer, sehingga dibutuhkan tempat pelatihan dan asrama dengan standar desain interior. Konsep desain Tiara Competency Centre ini ditentukan setelah melewati beberapa proses tahapan, seperti studi literatur mengenai ruang pelatihan menurut pendapat ahli, standart ruang asrama, studi pembanding dan lain sebagainya. Berdasarkan dengan hasil yang diperoleh dapat disimpulkan menjadi konsep desain yang cocok untuk Tiara Competency Centre, yakni modern attractive. Berdasarkan karakteristik pengguna yang memungkinkan warga negara asing untuk mengikuti pelatihan, konsep desain modern dinilai cocok untuk diterapkan yang memaksimalkan bentuk simple, bersih, efisien dan fungsional, sebagai poin utama. Dikombinasikan dengan konsep atraktif agar menambah ruangan lebih menarik baik dari segi fungsional dan estetis ruang. Pengaplikasian elemen interior juga mempertimbangkan dari segi sirkulasi dan kebutuhan fasilitas bagi para pengguna. Dengan konsep perancangan Tiara Competency Center diatas diharapkan dapat menambah keaktifan bagi peserta pelatihan, dan dapat meningkatkan semangat pengguna.

Tiara Competency Center is one of the institutions that provide training facilities for prospective Engineers before entering the workforce. Tiara Competency Center is a
subsidiary of PT. Tiara Vibrasindo Pratama. This company is engaged in maintenance that handles the integration of asset reliability and improvement of business practices.
PT. Tiara Vibrasindo Pratama has built a network of maintenance experts and specialists in the engineering field. The need for training is considered important as the first step for prospective engineers, so that training and dormitory rooms are needed with interior design standards. The Tiara Competency Center design concept is determined after going through several stages of the process, such as literature studies on training rooms according to expert opinion, standard dormitory rooms, comparative studies and etc. Based on the results obtained it can be concluded that the design concept is suitable for Tiara Competency Center, which is modern attractive. Based on user characteristics that allow foreign nationals to take part in the training, the modern design concept is considered suitable to be applied which maximizes simple, clean, efficient and functional forms, as the main points. Combined with attractive concepts to add more attractive space both in terms of functional and aesthetic space. The application of interior elements also considers in terms of circulation and facility requirements for users. With the design concept of the Tiara Competency Center above, it is hoped that it can increase the activity of the trainees, and can increase the enthusiasm of the users.
