Abstract

Pasir pantai memiliki struktur tanah lepas, KTK rendah, dan kesuburan rendah. Pengolahan pasir pantai sebagai media tanam perlu dilakukan dengan bantuan bahan organik yaitu pupuk AMB-P07 dan mikoriza arbuskula agar tanah tersebut memenuhi syarat tumbuh komoditas dan meningkatkan hasil panen tanaman holtikultura. Salah satunya yaitu terong ungu yang sangat diminati masyarakat. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengetahui pengaruh inokulasi mikoriza arbuskula pada media tan AMB-P07 terhadap produksi buah dan aktivitas antioksidan S. melongena var. Mustang F1. Metode pada penelitian ini meliputi pemanenan buah, uji kadar flavonoid dan aktivitas antioksidan yang diukur dengan metode spektrofotometri, dan uji infeksi mikoriza pada akar melalui teknik pewarnaan dengan trypan blue. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan perlakuan media tanam AMB-P07 terhadap jumlah dan berat buah terong tidak berpengaruh nyata. Hasil kadar flavonoid dan aktivitas antioksidan tertinggi pada perlakuan media tanam AMB-P07 yang diinokulasi mikoriza 25 gr menunjukkan nilai sebesar 35,41 mgEQ/gr, sedangkan persen inhibisi 83,60%, inokulasi mikoriza arbuskula pada media tanam AMB-P07 tidak berpengaruh nyata pada infeksi akar.

Coastal sand has a loose soil structure, low CEC, and low fertility. Processing of coastal sand as a planting medium needs to be done with the help of organic materials, namely AMB-P07 fertilizer and arbuscular mycorrhiza so that the soil meets the growing requirements of commodities and increases horticulture crop yields. One of them is the purple eggplant that is very popular with the public. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of arbuscular mycorrhizal inoculation on AMB-P07 tan media on fruit production and antioxidant activity of S. melongena var. Mustang F1. The method in this study included fruit harvesting, the test of flavonoid content and antioxidant activity measured by spectrophotometric methods, and the test of mycorrhizal infection at the root through trypan blue coloring techniques. The results of research that showed AMB-P07 planting media on the number and weight of eggplant fruit did not significantly affect. The highest flavonoid and antioxidant activity results in AMB-P07 growing media inoculated with 25 gr mycorrhizal showed a value of 35,41 mgEQ/100gr, while the inhibition percentage was 83.60%, inoculation of mychorrhiza in AMB-P07 planting media didn't significally affect root infection.
