Abstract

Pada pembangunan SPAM (Sistem Penyediaan Air Minum) Regional Umbulan – Offtakes Pasuruan dimana mengandalkan mata air Umbulan yang terkenal sebagai sumber mata air jernih, tetapi pada kenyataannya air di alam tak selamanya selalu terjaga kejernihannya. Air yang jernih pun makin hari makin sehingga menyebabkan adanya tingkat kekeruhan air. Untuk mengetahui tingkat kekeruhan air tersebut, maka dibuat prototype pendeteksi kekeruhan air dengan Analog Turbidity Sensor. Sensor ini mengukur kekeruhan air dengan mendeteksi partikel tersuspensi dalam air dengan cara mengukur transmitansi dan hamburan cahaya yang berbanding lurus dengan kadar Total Suspended Solids (TTS). Hasil pembacaan sensor akan ditampilkan pada LCD yang diintegrasikan dengan Arduino dan RTC untuk mendapatkan data realtime dari setiap perubahan tingkat kekeruhan air. Sedangkan Ethernet Shield W5100 yang dihubungkan dengan access point akan mengirim hasil pembacaan sensor ke database website yang akan ditampilkan dalam bentuk grafik riwayat turbidity. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian terhadap 3 sampel air dengan tingkat kekeruhan yang berbeda, didapatkan nilai turbiditas dengan rata-rata persentase kesalahan relatif pengukuran keseluruhan adalah 2,68%. Setelah dilakukan pengujian sistem, hasilnya menunjukkan proses pengiriman data dari access point menuju PC tanpa penghalang dapat terus dilakukan tanpa ada loss hingga jarak 160 meter, sedangkan dengan penghalang dinding dapat terus dilakukan tanpa ada loss hingga jarak 20m, dengan delay pengiriman data maksimum 3 detik.

In the construction of the Umbulan Regional Water Supply System (SPAM) - Pasuruan Offtakes which relies on Umbulan springs which are well-known as clear springs, but in reality water in nature is not always always maintained clarity. Clear water is getting more and more so that it causes the level of turbidity of the water. To determine the level of turbidity of the water, a water turbidity detection prototype was made with Analog Turbidity Sensor. This sensor measures the turbidity of water by detecting suspended particles in water by measuring the transmittance and scattering of light which is directly proportional to the level of Total Suspended Solids (TTS). The sensor readings will be displayed on the LCD which is integrated with Arduino and RTC to get realtime data from any changes in water turbidity level. While the Ethernet Shield W5100 which is connected to the access point will send the sensor readings to the website database which will be displayed in the form of a turbidity history graph. Based on the results of testing of 3 water samples with different turbidity levels, the value of turbidity is obtained with the average percentage of the relative error of measurement is 2.68%. After testing the system, the results show that the process of sending data from an access point to a PC without a barrier can continue without loss of up to 160 meters, while the wall barrier can continue without loss of up to 20m, with a maximum data delay of 3 seconds.
