Abstract

PT Cahaya Bintang Olympic adalah perusahaan yang bergerak di bidang industri furniture yang merupakan cabang dari Olympic Group. Produk yang dihasilkan yaitu Bed Room Set, Living Room Set, Children Set, Kitchen Set, dan Office Set. Kualitas dari produk yang dihasilkan tentunya berhubungan dengan bahan baku yang digunakan, salah satunya foil. Selama ini perusahaan dalam melakukan pemeriksaan foil hanya pada ujung gulungan, hal tersebut dapat memberikan resiko jika ternyata bagian dalam dari gulungan foil kualitasnya buruk. Penelitian ini ingin membandingkan sampling penerimaan yang digunakan oleh perusahaan dengan sampling penerimaan menggunakan metode MIL STD 105E. Hasil analisis menunjukkan sampling penerimaan menggunakan metode MIL STD 105E memilki probabilitas lot diterima yang lebih kecil dan resiko produsen yang lebih besar jika dibandingkan dengan metode yang digunakan oleh perusahaan, sehingga dengan menggunakan metode MIL STD 105E perusahaan dapat mendeteksi adanya produk cacat lebih teliti.

PT Cahaya Bintang Olympic is a company engaged in the furniture industry which is a branch of the Olympic Group. The products produced are Bed Room Set, Living Room Set, Children Set, Kitchen Set, and Office Set. The quality of the products produced is certainly related to the raw materials used, one of them is foil. During this time the company in conducting checks on foil is only checking the at the end of the roll, this can pose a risk if it turns out that the inside of the foil roll is of poor quality. This study wants to compare the sampling of revenues used by companies with sampling acceptance using the MIL STD 105E method. The analysis showed acceptance sampling using MIL STD 105E methods has smaller probability of being accepted and greater producers risk when compared with the methods used by the company, so that by using the MIL STD 105E method the company can detect the presence of more defective products.
