Abstract

Rumah sakit berfungsi untuk memberikan pelayanan kesehatan lengkap pada masyarakat, dimana keluaran layanannya menjangkau pelayanan keluarga dan lingkungan. Sebagai salah satu bentuk fasilitas pelayanan kesehatan, rumah sakit sering mengalami kesulitan dalam pengelolaan informasi baik untuk kebutuhan internal maupun eksternal, sehingga perlu diupayakan peningkatan pengelolaan informasi yang efisien, cepat, mudah, akurat, dan accountable. Salah satu bentuk penerapannya adalah melalui penggunaan sistem informasi berbasis komputer. Dalam kegiatan pengelolaan data pelayanan proses bisnis rawat inap pada rumah sakit Al-Fauzan masih belum dilakukan secara terkomputerisasi sepenuhnya, yang dapat memperlambat kegiatan pelayanan kesehatan terhadap masyarakat. Sistem informasi adalah solusi yang dapat membantu dalam kelancaran kegiatan rumah sakit dalam melayani masyarakat. Hasil dari tugas akhir ini adalah sistem informasi manajemen rumah sakit bagian rawat inap yang dapat menyimpan berkas rekam medis pasien selama menjalani proses rawat inap, sehingga data pasien dapat terkumpul di satu tempat.

Hospital serves to provide health services to the community, where the output of services reaches family and environmental services. As one form of health care facilities, hospitals often experience difficulties in managing information both for internal and external needs, so it is necessary to strive to improve information management that is efficient, fast, easy, accurate, and accountable. One form of application is through the use of computer-based information systems. In Al-Fauzan Hospital, the inpatient service is still not fully computerized, which can slow down health service. Information systems are solutions that can help smoothen hospital activities in serving the community. The result of this thesis is Hospital Management Information System inpatient department that can store the patient's medical record file during the inpatient process, so that patient data can be collected in one place.
