Abstract
Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember telah resmi berganti status menjadi PTN-BH pada usianya yang ke-57. Sebagai perguruan tinggi bertaraf internasional, ITS terus berupaya untuk meningkatkan kualitas. Hal ini dilakukan dalam rangka mewujudkan ITS sebagai World Class University. Salah satu langkah yang dilakukan yaitu dengan melakukan branding universitas. Gedung fasilitas akademik Departemen Magister Manajemen Teknologi dipilih sebagai objek desain untuk meningkatkan upaya branding agar dapat tetap eksis menghadapi persaingan kampus. Tema desain yang diterapkan pada interior gedung fasilitas akademik Departemen Magister Manajemen Teknologi adalah Modern Eco-Friendly. Desain interior modern yaitu gaya tren kekinian, memiliki karakteristik ruangan yang tidak banyak menggunakan dekorasi untuk menghiasi ruangan, terlihat rapih dan bersih. Sedangkan Eco-Friendly adalah konsep yang dibangun berwawasan lingkungan, dengan memanfaatkan potensi alam secara maksimal. Maka dari itu material yang banyak digunakan adalah material yang berasal dari alam seperti batu/kayu. Langkah pertama yang harus dilakukan yaitu dengan melakukan observasi objek secara langsung. Observasi dilakukan bertujuan untuk mengetahui keadaan eksisting bangunan serta penulis dapat merasakan fasilitas apa saja yang dibutuhkan oleh pengguna. Selain melakukan observasi lapangan, penulis juga menyebarkan kuesioner pada pengguna untuk mengetahui desain seperti apa yang diinginkan oleh pengguna. Kemudian penulis melakukan analisis data yang telah diperoleh dari observasi lapangan dan penyebaran kuesioner untuk mengidentifikasi masalah apa saja yang muncul sehingga dapat memberikan solusi yang tepat dalam mendesain.

Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember has officially changed its status to PTN-BH at the age of 57. As an international standard university, ITS continues to strive to improve quality. This is done in order to realize ITS as a World Class University. One of the steps taken is to do university branding. The building of academic facilities The Department of Magister of Management of Technology was chosen as the design object to increase branding efforts so that it can still exist in the face of campus competition.
The design theme applied to the interior of the building of the academic facilities of the Department of Master of Technology Management is Modern Eco-Friendly. Modern interior design, namely the style of the present trend, has the characteristics of a room that does not use much decoration to decorate the room, looks neat and clean. While Eco-Friendly is a concept that is built with environmental insight, by maximizing the potential of nature. So from that material that is widely used is material that comes from nature such as stone / wood. The first step that must be done is by observing the object directly. Observation was carried out aiming to find out the condition of the existing building and the author can feel what facilities are needed by the user. In addition to conducting field observations, the author also distributes questionnaires to users to find out what kind of design the user wants. Then the author analyzes the data that has been obtained from field observations and distributing questionnaires to identify any problems that arise so that they can provide the right solution in designing.
