Abstract
Platform MyITS Single Sign-On merupakan sebuah platform yang menggunakan teknologi SSO (Single Sign-On) yaitu teknologi yang mengizinkan pengguna untuk mengakses beberapa aplikasi hanya dengan menggunakan satu akun pengguna saja. MyITS SSO menerapkan teknologi dari protokol OpenID Connect untuk menunjang proses autentikasi terpusatnya. Namun pada penerapan teknologi ini terdapat kekurangan, yaitu ketika pengguna ingin keluar dari beberapa aplikasi tersebut, pengguna harus melakukannya satu per satu. Pengguna tidak bisa keluar dari banyak aplikasi sekaligus. Untuk menangani kekurangan tersebut, dalam tugas akhir ini menambahkan mekanisme sign out secara terpusat sehingga pengguna dapat keluar dari banyak aplikasi sekaligus. Mekanisme sign out secara terpusat dapat dilakukan dengan mengimplementasikan tiga spesifikasi dari protokol OpenID Connect, yaitu OpenID Connect Session Management, OpenID Connect Front-Channel Logout, dan OpenID Back-Channel Logout. Spesifikasi OpenID Connect Session Management digunakan untuk memantau session pengguna di MyITS SSO, sedangkan OpenID Connect Front-Channel Logout dan OpenID Connect Back-Channel Logout digunakan untuk mengeluarkan pengguna di lebih dari satu aplikasi yang pada MyITS SSO dengan berbeda saluran, yaitu saluran depan dan saluran belakang. Saluran depan menggunakan browser sebagai perantara komunikasinya, sedangkan saluran belakang tanpa melalui browser. Tiga spesifikasi ini berhasil diimplementasikan di MyITS SSO dengan menggunakan Bahasa pemrograman PHP dan kerangka kerja Phalcon.

MyITS Single Sign On is a platform that implement SSO (Single Sign On) technology, a technology that allow End-User to access multiple applications using only single registered account. MyITS SSO applies technology from the OpenID Connect protocol to support its centralized authentication process. But the application of this technology still has shortcoming that if End-User wants to get out from multiple applications, the End-User has to do it one by one. End-User can not sign out from multiple applications at once. To resolve these shortcoming, this undergraduate thesis will add a centralized sign out mechanism so End-User can sign out from multiple applications at once. The mechanism of centralized sign out can done by implementing three specifications of OpenID Connect protocol, called OpenID Connect Session Management, OpenID Connect Front-Channel Logout, and OpenID Back-Channel Logout. OpenID Connect Session Management specification is used to monitor End-User’s session at MyITS SSO, while OpenID Connect Front-Channel Logout and OpenID Connect Back-Channel Logout are used to log out End-User from multiple applications at MyITS SSO with two different channels, specifically the front channel and back channel. The front channel uses the browser as an intermediary for communication while the back channel does not go through the browser. These three specifications have been successfully implemented in MyITS SSO using PHP programming language and Phalcon framework.
