Abstract

Komunikasi data merupakan proses pengiriman data atau informasi dari suatu sumber ke tujuan. Sedangkan komunikasi serial ialah pengiriman data secara serial atau satu persatu secara berurutan. Agar komunikasi serial dapat bekerja dengan baik, data byte harus diubah ke dalam bit-bit serial dengan yang disebut shift register parallel-in serial-out. Hal yang serupa dikerjakan pada penerima, dimana penerima harus mengubah bit-bit serial yang diterimanya menjadi data byte yang persis seperti data semula pada pengirim, dengan menggunakan shift register serial-in parallel-out. Pada tugas akhir ini digunakan protokol dan media transmisi berupa bluetooth. Digunakan 3 bluetooth, dimana bluetooth 1 untuk transfer dari hand glove remote ke tangan robot. Lalu, bluetooth 2 untuk receiver di tangan robot dari hand glove remote. Dan bluetooth 3 untuk transfer data dari tangan robot dan hand glove remote ke aplikasi. Pada pengujian tugas akhir ini, dilakukan beberapa pengambilan data dengan berbagai jarak. Loss data yang paling kecil pada pengiriman data sebesar 0.32% pada jarak 30 cm.

Data communication is the process of sending data or information from one source to the destination. While, serial communication is sending data serially or one by one in sequence. In order for serial communication to work properly, byte data must be converted into serial bits, its called shift register parallel-in serial-out. The same thing is happening at the receiver, where the recipient must change the serial bits that receives into byte data that is exactly like the original data on the sender, using the shift register serial-in parallel-out. In this final project the protocol and transmission media in the form of bluetooth are used. 3 bluetooth is used, where bluetooth 1 is to transfer from the remote hand glove to the robot. Then, bluetooth 2 for the receiver in the robot's hand from the remote hand glove. And bluetooth 3 for transferring data from robotic hands and remote hand glove to the application. In testing this final project, several data collection was carried out with various distances. The smallest loss data on data transmission is 0.32% at a distance of 30 cm.
