Abstract
AW Platform merupakan salah satu oil n gas platform yang berada di Indonesia milik PT Pertamina Hulu Energi West Madura Offshore (PHE WMO). Platform ini beroperasi di West Madura field 712.114,36 E dan 926.332,3 N. “Platform North” dari platform ini berada pada 6,50 dari “True North”. Platform ini dibuat pada tahun 1977 hanya dengan 1 level deck yaitu cellar deck kemudian seiring berjalannya waktu terjadi penambahan main deck. AW Platform sudah beroperasi selama 42 tahun dengan rencana penambahan umur 5 tahun. Untuk melakukan itu maka perlu diadakannya assessment terhadap struktur. Pada assessment ini data-data dari hasil inspeksi diperlukan untuk mengetahui letak kerusakan dari platform tersebut. Menurut hasil inspeksi terjadi beberapa lokasi yang mengalami korosi salah satunya adalah di Horizontal Brace A1-B1. Korosi yang terjadi memiliki ukuran 35 x 3,44 inch dengan kedalaman 0,15 inch. Untuk memperbaiki struktur yang mengalami korosi salah satunya dengan menggunakan metode doubler plate. Doubler plate merupakan plat tambahan yang digunakan untuk menambal lokasi yang terkena korosi. Pada penelitian ini didapatkan member kondisi normal memiliki tegangan sebesar 23872 psi dan deformasi 0,13 inch. Setelah dilakukan mitigasi dengan variasi 0,19 inch, 0,23 inch dan 0,47 didapatkan bahwa untuk mengembalikan deformasi seperti semula maka doubler plate yang dibutuhkan setebal 0,47 inch. Ketika menggunakan doubler plate setebal 0,47 inch didapatkan tegangan yang terjadi yaitu sebesar 42550 dan deformasi 0,13. Nilai Reserve Strength Ratio dari struktur juga terjadi peningkatan yaitu sebesar 15% pada arah 00, 8% pada arah 450, 8% pada arah 900, 0% pada arah 1350, 7% pada arah 1800, 0% pada arah 2250, 0% pada arah 2700 dan 3% pada arah 3150. Maka pada penelitian direkomendasikan tebal doubler plate yaitu setebal 0,47 inch.===============================================================================================================

This platform was made in 1977 with only 1 level deck, namely cellar deck then as time goes by there is an addition of playing deck. AW Platform has been operating for 42 years with plans to increase the age of 5 years. To do that, an assessment of the structure is needed. In this assessment, the data from the inspection results are needed to determine the location of the damage to the platform. According to the inspection results, there were several locations that experienced corrosion, one of which was in the Horizontal Brace A1-B1. Corrosion that occurs has a size of 35 x 3.44 inches with a depth of 0.15 inches. To improve the corrosion structure, one of them is by using the doubler plate method. Doubler plate is an additional plate that is used to patch the location of corrosion. In this study, the members of normal conditions obtained a stress of 23872 psi and a deformation of 0.13 inch. After mitigation with variations of 0.19 inch, 0.23 inch and 0.47 it was found that to restore the deformation as before, the required doubler plate is 0.47 inch thick. When using a 0.47 inches thick doubler plate the stress that occurs is equal to 42550 and deformation of 0.13. The Reserve Strength Ratio value of the structure also increases by 15% in 00, 8% in the direction of 450, 0% in the direction of 900, 5% in the direction of 1350, 7% in the direction of 1800, 0% in the direction of 2250, 0% in direction 2700 and 3% in the direction of 3150. So in this final project recommended a thick doubler plate that is 0.47 inch thick.
