Abstract

Proses Backpack Floating merupakan backpack yang berfungsi untuk mereduksi beban pada backpack. Hal tersebut karena backpack floating memiliki nilai konstanta spring dan damper yang lebih kecil daripada backpack biasa. Akibatnya backpack floating memilki gaya osilasi yang rendah saat digunakan manusia ketika berjalan. Namun backpack floating yang ada saat ini hanya dapat digunakan untuk satu backpack saja karena frame dan backpacknya fix. Pada penelitian tugas akhir ini akan dilakukan rancang bangun backpack floating portable. Perancangan backpack floating yang dilakukan yaitu untuk mengetahui nilai Amplitude pada backpack dengan menggunakan tinggi rata rata dan kecepatan manusia Indonesia. Nilai Amplitude pada backpack tadi digunakan untuk mengetahui jarak antara bushing dengan batas atas dan batas bawah pada frame sehingga saat digunakan frame backpack tidak mengalami tumbukan dengan batas atas maupun batas bawah. Selain itu, dudukan untuk tempat meletakkan backpack juga menggunakan dimensi yang sesuai dengan backpack yang ada di Indonesia. Output pada tugas akhir ini adalah didapatkan hasil rancang bangun backpack floating portable yang menggunakan parameter tinggi rata rata dan kecepatan orang Indonesia. Selain itu, didapatkan juga target nilai reduksi beban backpack sebesar 30 %.

Backpack or backpack is one of the media that is often used by humans to carry goods to support their daily activities. At present, many backpack products can be found on the market, one of which is the floating backpack. This floating backpack has the advantage of having a low oscillation force when used by humans when walking. So when humans walk with a certain amplitude, the amplitude value produced by a floating backpack will be small. But floating backpacks that are available on the market are only for one backpack, because backpacks and frames are one. In this final project research will be designed to design a portable floating backpack. Analysis of the calculations performed is to find out the value of f oscillations from the results of research with backpacks and floating backpacks from previous studies. Several variations are used for calculations, namely the backpack mass, and the speed of humans walking. It aims to determine the amplitude value of humans and backpacks and the oscillations produced with these variations. To prove the results of calculations, measurements were also made using the hx711 sensor which was calibrated with a digital scale In this study, the results of f oscillations will be compared with previous studies. besides that it will be compared to the weight received by humans when using this floating backpack by using a heavy sensor hx711
