Abstract
Seperti yang diketahui, usaha jasa layanan profesional ground handling dan kegiatan usaha lainnya yang menunjang usaha penerbangan di bandar udara sangat diperlukan. Usaha ini berjalan dengan tuntutan hasil unjuk kerja yang optimal tanpa mengabaikan unsur keamanan, keselamatan, kehandalan dan ketepatan waktu. Usaha jasa ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan screw compressor sebagai komponen utama air start unit jet engine. Dalam hal ini menganalisa kecepatan spesifik untuk menentukan jenis impeller yang akan digunakan. Dengan tuuan untuk bekerja tanpa mengabaikan unsur keamanan dan keselamatan, maka dianalisa prosedur perawatan dari air starter unit. Dari perhitungan unjuk kerja dan pressure drop, maka Tekanan yang dihasilkan oleh kompresor setelah dikurangi dengan pressure drop yang dialami instalasi adalah sebesar 374,408 kPa. Sedangkan dari data yang didapat dari PT Gapura Angkasa (terlampir) tekanan yang dibutuhkan untuk menggerakkan jet engine adalah sebesar 341,32 kPa. Jadi, dari instalasi ini kebutuhan tekanan untuk menggerakkan jet engine terpenuhi. Hasil dari analisa preventive maintenance worksheet PT Gapura Angkasa, dapat diketahui interval waktu pemeriksaan dan jenis kegiatan yang perlu dilakukan berupa pembersihan (clean), pemeriksaan (check), pergantian (replace/change), pengencangan (retightening), pelumasan (grease), pengaturan kembali (adjust).

As is known, the business of professional ground handling services and other business activities that support the flight business at airports is very necessary. This business runs with the demands of optimal performance results without ignoring the elements of security, safety, reliability and timeliness. This service business is carried out by using a screw compressor as the main component of the jet engine unit water start. In this case analyzing the specific speed to determine the type of compressor to be used. With the intention to work without ignoring security and safety elements, the maintenance procedure of the starter unit water is analyzed. From the calculation of performance and pressure drop, the pressure produced by the compressor after being reduced by the pressure drop experienced by the installation is 374,408 kPa. Whereas from the data obtained from PT Gapura Angkasa the pressure needed to drive the jet engine is 341.32 kPa. So, from this installation the need for pressure to drive the jet engine is fulfilled. The results of the PT Gapura Angkasa preventive maintenance worksheet analysis, we can find out the inspection time intervals and the types of activities that need to be carried out in the form of clean, inspection, change / change, retighting, grease, arrangement adjust.
