Abstract

Perdagangan manusia atau human trafficking menjadi salah satu masalah serius di era globalisasi ini dan telah diklasifikasikan sebagai bentuk kejahatan luar biasa (extra ordinary crime). Kejahatan ini bersifat represif dengan tujuan eksploitasi manusia, baik kelompok maupun individu. Human trafficking bukan hanya merupakan tindak kejahatan kriminalitas semata, tetapi juga menyangkut pelanggaran terhadap hak asasi manusia (HAM). Pencegahan menjadi salah satu upaya yang harus ditingkatkan untuk mengurangi terjadinya kejahatan ini. Meski telah dibuat undang-undang yang mengatur tentang kejahatan ini, namun, sebagaimana ilmu arsitektur yang semakin berkembang dan perkembangannya dapat mencakup segala aspek kehidupan, maka seorang arsitek yang merancang arsitektur perlu memberikan respon akan permasalahan ini. Untuk merespon isu human trafficking tersebut, objek arsitektur yang dihadirkan yaitu berupa pusat edukasi dan informasi. Pusat edukasi dan informasi yang dibuat akan dikemas dalam bentuk sarana rekreasi. Di mana pusat ini mampu mengedukasi pengunjung tentang modus-modus pelaku human trafficking dan dampak human trafficking terhadap korban. Sehingga masyarakat dapat menghindar dan juga terlepas dari para pelaku human trafficking. Pada desain rancang ini pendekatan yang digunakan yaitu pendekatan analogi linguistik yang memiliki tiga cara, yaitu, model tata bahasa, model ekspresionis dan model semiotik. Dan cara yang dipilih untuk diterapkan pada rancangan ini adalah model ekspresionis. Metode yang digunakan adalah narrative design, dengan tujuan agar arsitektur dapat menceritakan tentang hal-hal yag berkaitan dengan human trafficking. Cerita tersebut direpresentasikan melalui elemen-elemen dalam desain rancang.

Human trafficking has become one of the serious problems in this globalization era and has been classified as a form of extraordinary crime. This crime is repressive with the aim of exploiting humans, both groups and individuals. Human trafficking is not only a criminal act of crime but also involves violations of human rights. Prevention is one of the efforts that must be increased to reduce the occurrence of this crime. Although a law that regulates this crime has been made, however, as architectural science is increasingly developing and its development can cover all aspects of life, an architect who designs architecture needs to respond to this problem. Respond to the issue of human trafficking, the architectural objects presented are in the form of education and information centers. The education and information center created will be packaged in the form of recreational facilities. Where the center is able to educate visitors about the modes of perpetrators of human trafficking and the impact of human trafficking on victims. So that people can avoid and also be released from the perpetrators of human trafficking. In this design, the approach used is the linguistic analogy approach. the approach has three ways, namely grammar models, expressionist models, and semiotic models, which are chosen for this design are expressionist models. The method used is narrative design, with the aim that architecture can tell about matters relating to human trafficking. The story is represented through elements in designs.
