Abstract

PT X merupakan perusahaan yang bergerak dibidang pembangkitan energi listrik yang salah satunya mengelola unit Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Uap (PLTU) dengan bahan bakar batubara yang telah beroperasi lebih dari 20 tahun. Terdapat indikasi pemborosan energi (energy losses/ energy waste) berupa penurunan performa dari pelatatan pembangkit ataupun pemborosan energi akibat dari pola pengoperasian. Pemborosan energi dari peralatan dinyatakan dengan adanya gap pemakaian energi saat ini terhadap pemakaian energi pada kondisi performa terbaiknya (baseline energy) atau kondisi komisioning (commissioning test). Pemborosan energi saat pengoperasian dinyatakan dengan adanya heat loss selama proses pengoperasian. Penelitian ini membahas mengenai penerapan lean manufacturing pada proses pembangkitan untuk meminimalkan pemborosan penggunaan energi pada proses diantaranya pemakaian energi listrik pada proses pembongkaran batubara menuju stock pile, pengisian batubara menuju coal silo untuk proses pembakaran dan pemborosan energi pada proses pembangkitan pada peralatan-peralatan utama seperti di turbine, boiler, condenser dengan menggunakan pendekatan metode Energy Value Stream Mapping (EVSM). Metodologi penelitian yang digunakan adalah eksploratori deskriptif analitik dimana pengambilan data dilakukan dengan pengukuran energi pada semua proses produksi. Analisa dilakukan dengan penyusunan framework EVSM yang mengambarkan keseluruhan proses dalam stream energi. Tingkat signifikansi pemborosan energi proses disusun dalam Pareto diagram sebagai prioritisasi penyelesaian permasalahan dan rekomendasi penyelesaian masalah disusun dengan menggunakan analisa Ishikawa diagram dan Fault Tree Analysis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa, nilai energy waste pada proses Unloading sebesar 42904,98 kWh. Energy waste pada proses Loading sebesar 7086,08 kWh. Energy waste Pada proses pembangkitan sebesar 372,49 kcal/kWh. Hasil prioritasi penyelesaian permasalahan dan rekomendasi perbaikan, didapatkan potensi penghematan sebesar Rp 200.004.788,16.

PT X is an electrical energy company which is managing a Coal Steam Power Plant has been operating for more than 20 years. There are any indications of energy waste in the form of performance decrease in the power plant equipment or energy waste due to the operating system. The equipment energy waste is expressed by gap between current energy use and energy use in the best performance or commissioning condition. Energy waste during operation is stated by the presence of heat loss during the operation process. This study discusses about the application of lean manufacturing in power plant process to minimize waste of energy use including electrical energy use in the coal unloading process to the stockpile, coal loading process to coal silos for combustion processes and energy waste in major equipment of power plant process such as turbine, boiler, and condenser with the Energy Value Stream Mapping (EVSM) approach. The research methodology used is descriptive analytic exploratory which data collected by measuring energy in all production processes. The analysis is done by compiling the EVSM framework that describes the whole process in the energy stream. The level of significance of energy waste process is arranged in Pareto diagrams as problem solving prioritization and the recommendations are prepared using Ishikawa Diagram Analysis and Fault Tree Analysis. The results showed the energy waste in the Unloading process was 42904.98 kWh. Energy waste in the loading process is 7086.08 kWh. Energy waste in the generation process of 372.49 kcal / kWh. The results of the prioritization of problem solving and recommendations for improvement, obtained potential savings of IDR. 200.004.788,16.
