Abstract
Pesatnya kemajuan Industri mendorong meningkatnya kebutuhan bahan bakar sehingga diperlukan bahan bakar alternatif. Biodiesel merupakan salah satu biofuel yang bisa menjadi altematif pengganti bahan bakar fosil pada motor diesel. Namun perbedaan properties antara solar dan biodielsel seperti viskositas biodiesel yang lebih tinggi akan berpengaruh pada penginjeksian. Pemansan temperature dilakukan untuk menurunkan viskositas sehingga didapat perbandingan proses pembakaran, performa serta kebisingan motor diesel yang dihasilkan. Penelitian ini menggunakan mesin diesel silinder tunggal yang dioperasikan dengan beberapa variasi putaran, beban dan temperature bahan bakar. Hasil penelitian menyatakan ketika bahan bakar B20 dan B30 dipanaskan dari suhu ruang sampai 60°C untuk setiap variasi putaran dan beban, Daya dan Torsi mesin diesel kedua bahan bakar tersebut rata-rata mengalami kenaikan sebesar 0.92% dan 0.91%. Sementara SFOC mengalami penurunan sebesar 2.05%.. Sementara untuk B20 mempunyai daya dan torsi yang lebih besar rata-rata sebesar 2.41% dan 2.44% dari B30 sedangkan SFOC lebih kecil 6.07%. Kenaikan temperature bahan bakar menyebabkan naiknya tekanan dalam ruang bakar sehingga menghasilkan ledakan yang lebih tinggi hal ini menyebakan bertambahnya kebisingan. sehingga semakin tinggi temperature semakin tinggi kebisingan serta B20 mempunyai kebisingan yang lebih besar 1.45% dari B30.

The rapid progress of the industry has pushed up the need for fuel so that alternative fuels are needed. Biodiesel is one of the biofuels that can be an alternative substitute for fossil fuels in diesel motors. But the differences in properties between diesel and biodielsel such as higher biodiesel viscosity will affect injection. Temperature monitoring is done to reduce viscosity so that a comparison of the combustion process, performance and noise of the diesel motor is obtained. This study uses a single cylinder diesel engine that is operated with several variations in rotation, load and fuel temperature. The results stated that when the B20 and B30 fuels were heated from room temperature to 60 ° C for each rotation variation and load, the power and torque of the diesel engines of both fuels increased by an average of 0.92% and 0.91%. While SFOC has decreased by 2.05%. While for B20 it has greater power and torque on average of 2.41% and 2.44% than B30 while SFOC is smaller 6.07%. The increase in fuel temperature causes an increase in pressure in the combustion chamber resulting in a higher explosion this causes an increase in noise. so that the higher the temperature the higher the noise and B20 has a noise greater 1.45% than B30.
