Abstract

PT. Pertamina EP adalah perusahaan yang menyelenggarakan kegiatan usaha di sektor hulu bidang minyak dan gas bumi, meliputi Eksplorasi dan Produksi (EP). PT. Pertamina EP memiliki lima Asset yang tersebar di seluruh Indonesia, salah satunya ialah PT. Pertamina EP Asset 3 yang berpusat di Kota Cirebon – Jawa Barat. PT. Pertamina EP Asset 3 memiliki tiga wilayah kerja yaitu Field Subang, Field Jatibarang, dan Field Tambun dan satu Main Gathering Station yang terdapat di Balongan. Sekarang salah satu pompa transfer yang digunakan mengalami kerusakan total sehingga diperlukan pompa pengganti. Oleh karena itu, dalam tugas akhir ini penulis ingin memilih pompa pengganti untuk pompa yang rusak di Main Gathering Station Balongan PT. Pertamina EP Asset 3. Tugas akhir ini menghitung perencanaan ulang instalasi dan pemilihan pompa yang sesuai untuk instalasi pompa transfer yang ada di Main Gathering Station (MGS) Balongan. Perhitungan head, daya pompa dan efisiensi dilakukan secara analitis dan numerik menggunakan software pipe flow experts. Berdasarkan perhitungan analisis dan perhitungan numerik, dengan kapasitas 108 m3/jam maka didapatkan head effektif instalasi (Heff) sebesar 255,604 m, daya pompa sebesar 77,3 kW, efisiensi pompa sebesar 73% serta NPSHA sebesar 7,3 m. Sehingga dari hasil perhitungan-perhitungan tersebut dapat dipilih pompa model MSS (2 pole motor driven) merk ebara Pump.

PT. Pertamina EP is a company that organizes business activities in the upstream sector of oil and gas field, including exploration and production (EP). PT. Pertamina EP has five assets spread across Indonesia, one of the assets is PT. Pertamina EP Asset 3 based in the city of Cirebon – West Java. PT. Pertamina EP Asset 3 has three working areas consist of Subang Field , Jatibarang Field , and also Tambun Field and one Main Gathering Station in Balongan This Final Projectc calculated a redesign of installation and selection of the appropriate and Suitable pumps for the installation of the transfer pump that is in the Main Gathering Station (MGS) Balongan. The calculation of head, pump power and efficiency is done analytically and numerically using pipe flow experts software. Based on the analysis and redesign, the capacity of the transfer pump is obtained with a maximum capacity of 108 m3/hour with an effective installation head (Heff) of 255.604 m and also the result for pump power is 77.3 kW and NPSHA is 7,3 m. So from the results of such calculations , the suitable selected pump is the MSS Model (2 pole motor driven) from Ebara Pump brand.
