Abstract

Tourism is a necessity for every human being who aims to eliminate fatigue from daily busyness. Indonesian tourism is well known internationally for its natural beauty and cultural diversity. This diversity makes the world community love Indonesian tourist destinations, even in 2017 Indonesia gets the 9th level of tourism growth according to The World Travel and Tourism Council (WTTC) Bali is one of the tourist destinations in Indonesia that offers cultural diversity, but the high number of tourist visits cannot be enjoyed by all regions because tourism is still dominated by southern Bali, centralized tourism areas can have a negative impact where urbanization, congestion can reduce quality and the comfort of tourists in the tour was restored, besides that the growth of supporting facilities built in the southern Bali area was dominated by hotels, restaurants, malls and night clubs. The growth of supporting facilities was not balanced with the development of tourist objects which resulted in Bali experiencing oversupply. This requires the development of new tourist attractions to attract foreign tourists visiting Bali, Bangli as one of the tourism areas that have not yet been exposed has natural beauty that has been recognized by UNESCO and a wealth of culture. So that the selection of the ecoculture concept can collaborate on space requirements and cultural preservation by paying attention to sustainability values such as the natural wealth and climate of the building's standing environment.
