Abstract

Aquaculture consists of a series of activities for the maintenance of aquatic plants and several animal species, including vanamei shrimp. This activity has a big influence on economic development and food production. Physical and chemical monitoring such as turbidity of the water, pH, dissolved oxygen, temperature, and TDS in real-time can help the cultivation process to run normally. The monitoring system is designed to be able to monitor water conditions in real-time. In designing this system using a Turbidity sensor and TDS (Total Dissolved Solids) sensor to measure the turbidity value and the number of dissolved solids in the water. All sensors are integrated into Arduino Mega 2560. Arduino Mega acts like a microcontroller that functions to change the sensor reading data to be used as an output of the sensor in the form of measurement results. From the test results, it can be concluded that the integrated sensor can produce reading values such as turbidity value, amount of dissolved solids (TDS), pH and temperature. The test results can also read realtime readings from the Turbidity sensor, TDS (Total Dissolved Solids), pH and temperature. The reading results can be monitored through Virtuino applications that are connected by the internet network.
