Abstract

PT.

At the internship site, we supply 20KV voltage which is delivered to the community where it is lowered to 220V through the intermediary Keypoint. Whereat Keypoint there is a Modem and RTU to send Tele Status to the Master Station. When the substation is in trouble, the supply voltage to the Keypoint does not exist so Mo-dem and RTU cannot send data to the Master Station. To avoid this, the battery is needed to supply the Modem and RTU voltage. But when the battery continuously supplies the voltage up to 0% capacity the battery will not be able to move the mechanics at the Keypoint to close or open PMT manually, besides that it will have an impact on the lifetime of the shorter battery, and the battery will be damaged quickly. For this Auto cutting battery, a controller is needed to cut the battery voltage when it reaches less than 30%. Besides that this tool will monitor the battery condition that will be displayed on the LCD in the form of current on the battery charger, current at load, 220V voltage and battery voltage to determine the battery capacity. The test results from this auto cutting system use the VAC ZMPT101b sensor module with an average error of 1.88%. For DC voltage sensors use a voltage divider with an average error of 1.21%. The use of current sensors uses the ACS712 sensor module with an average error of 0.92%. On testing the whole system when auto cutting can be declared successful with an average value of the percentage of battery capacity when auto cutting is 30.51% which approaches the set set point which is 30% with a total of 6 times the experiment by discharing batteries that are charged with light 18 Watt
