Abstract

Bahaya kebakaran dan ledakan seperti jet fire, vapor cloud explosion dan pool fire dapat terjadi saat proses unloading metanol di PT. Terminal Nilam Utara. Bahaya ini dapat menyebabkan terganggu nya waktu operasional dan kerugian finansial. Oleh sebab itu diperlukan suatu penilaian risiko kebakaran secara menyeluruh guna memberikan Gambaran tingkat keamanan pada saat proses unloading metanol dari kapal menuju tangki penyimpanan. Dalam tugas akhir ini, metode kuantitatif integrasi dow’s fire and explosion index dengan fuzzy inferece system digunakan untuk memberikan penilaian secara menyeluruh terhadap risiko kebakaran dan ledakan.Berdasarkan penilaian yang telah dilakukan, proses bongkar metanol di PT. Terminal Nilam Utara aman terhadap bahaya kebakaran dan ledakan seperti jet fire, vapor cloud explosion dan pool fire dengan tingkat risiko yang dapat diterima ======================================================================== Fire and explosion hazard such as jet fire, vapor cloud explosion and pool fire can occur in methanol unloading process at PT. Terminal Nilam Utara. These hazards can stop operational time and cause financial losses. Therefore, particularly fire and explosion risk assessment is needed to provide insight of safety in methanol unloading process from ship to storage tank. In this study, the method of integration dow’s fire and explosion index with fuzzy inference system is used in term of particularly poviding fire risk assessment. As conducted the fire risk assessment, methanol unloading process at PT. Terminal Nilam Utara is avowed safe from fire and explosion hazard such as jet fire, vapor cloud explosion and pool fire as the risk level is acceptable.
