Abstract
PT. PJB Unit Pembangkitan (UP) Gresik merupakan yang selalu dituntut untuk siap memproduksi listrik dalam keadaan apapun dan dengan sistem yang efisien. Telah banyak hal yang dilakukan untuk meningkatkan efisiensi produksi pembangkit. Pada tugas akhir kami tertarik untuk mengangkat masalah perencanaan instalasi pompa Hypochlorite Chlorination Plant PLTU Unit 1.2 menuju Inlet Circulating Water Pump PLTGU. Pada kondisi yang ada, air laut yang diproses menjadi klorin dari area PLTU dialirkan menuju Inlet Circulating Water Pump dikarenakan Chloropac (modul elektrolisa) pada PLTGU tidak bisa beroperasi secara maksimal. Pada tugas akhir ini kami melakukan perencanaan instalasi dan pemilihan pompa yang sesuai untuk instalasi pompa Hypochlorite pada unit 1.2 Chlorination Plant PLTU. Perhitungan head, kapasitas, daya pompa dan efisiensi dilakukan secara analitis dan numerik menggunakan software Pipe Flow Experts. Berdasarkan analisis dan perhitungan, maka didapatkan kapasitas untuk pompa perencanaan dengan kapasitas maksimal 45,42 m3/jam atau 200 gpm dengan head efektif instalasi (Heff) sebesar 24,217 m serta didapatkan daya pompa sebesar 5,4 kW untuk kondisi existing serta head efektif instalasi (Heff) sebesar 20,577 m serta didapatkan daya pompa sebesar 4 kW untuk rekomendasi. Sehingga dari hasil perhitungan tersebut dapat dipilih Ebara Sentrifugal Pump tipe 4KA511 (80 x 65) untuk kondisi existing dan Ebara Sentrifugal Pump tipe 4JA55.5 (100 x 80) untuk rekomendasi.

PT. PJB Unit Pembangkitan (UP) Gresik is a corporation which always be besought to meet the demand of electricity in any occasions with high efficiency system. Many things in many ways had been done in order to increase the system efficiency. In this final project, we are interested to bring this matter planning of installation Hypochlorite Pump Unit 1.2 PLTU to Inlet Circulating Water Pump PLTGU. In existing condition, the sea water which will be processed to clorin is taken from PLTU area is flowed towards the Circulating Water Pump inlet because Chloropac (electrolysis module) in the PLTGU cannot operate optimally. On this final assignment, the planning of the installation and selection of pumps is proper for the installation of condensate pumps. The calculation of head, capacity, pump power and efficiency are carried out analytically and numerically using Pipe Flow Experts software. Based on analysis and recalculation, the capacity for a condensate pump with a maximum capacity of 45.42 m3/hour or 200 gpm is obtained with an effective head fort (Heff) of 24.217 m and the pump power is 5.4 kW and an effective head fort (Heff) of 20.577 m and the pump power is 4 kW to recommendation. Thus, the results of these calculations can be selected, the Ebara Centrifugal Pump type 4KA511 (80 x 65) to existing and Ebara Centrifugal Pump type 4JA55.5 (100 x 80) recommendation.
