Abstract
Dewasa ini banyak dijumpai organisasi atau perusahaan
yang berlomba-lomba dalam membangun sebuah sistem
informasi. Akan tetapi tidak jarang dijumpai juga investasi
teknologi yang mereka bangun tidak sesuai dengan apa yang
diharapkan. Besarnya investasi Teknologi Informasi (TI) yang
dikeluarkan tidak sebanding dengan manfaat (benefit) yang
didapat.
Hal di atas menjadi topik hangat manajemen SMP
Lukman Al Hakim. Rencana investasi sistem absensi komputer
yang telah dicanangkan seringkali terbentur oleh benefit yang
dirasa tidak terlalu signifikan bagi sekolah.
Pada tugas akhir ini, akan dianalisis permasalahan
tersebut. Analisis ini akan membandingkan biaya yang
dikeluarkan untuk pengadaan dan operasional sistem terhadap
manfaat yang diperoleh dari penerapan sistem, baik secara
finansial maupun non-finansial. Metode yang digunakan pada
analisis ini adalah Information Economic (IE).
Keluaran dari analisis ini adalah skor akhir proyek
investasi sistem absensi komputer sebesar 29,34. Dengan skor tersebut bisa dilakukan justifikasi bahwa investasi sistem absensi
komputer di SMP Lukman Al Hakim layak untuk dilakukan.

Today we have encountered many organizations or
companies racing with their competitors to build an information
system. But we often see technology investment which they build
does not match what was expected. The spending of many funds
in their investment disproportionate with the benefits they get.
This problem becames a hot topic at the top of
management SMP Luqman Al-Hakim. The investment of
Computerized Presence System that has been planned is often hit
by the perceived benefits which not significant for the school.
In this final project, the problem will be analyzed. This
analysis will compare the costs incurred for the procurement and
operational of the system against the benefits derived from the
system, both financially and non-financially. The method used in
this analysis is the Information Economic (IE).
The output of this analysis is the project score of
Computerized Presence System investment amounting to 29.34.
With that score could be justified that Computerized Presence
System investment in SMP Lukman Al Hakim is feasible to be
implemented.
