Abstract

Air merupakan salah satu kebutuhan pokok dalam ke-hidupan sehari-hari dan kualitas air sangat penting untuk digunakan dalam ke-hidupan sehari hari yang paling utama adalah digunakan untuk mi-num. Kualitas air dapat diukur melalui nilai TDS (Total Dissolved Sol-id) yang dinyatakan dengan satuan ppm (part per million), kualitas air dikategorikan baik untuk diminum jika memiliki nilai TDS dibwah 300ppm. Muncul permasalahan dimana kuialitas air rumah tangga (Air PDAM atau air sumur yang digunakan untuk mandi, dll) yang buruk terutama di daerah Surabaya yang memiliki nilai TDS 350-500 ppm. Pada Proyek Akhir ini, yang berjudul “Rancang Bangun dan Monitoring Desalinasi”. Alat ini digunakan untuk memperkecil nilai TDS air rumah tangga hingga kualitas air yang dihasilkan dikategorikan baik untuk diminum. Sistem yang digunakan, pada saat sensor mendeteksi adanya air pompa akan menyala dan memproses air baku. Pompa akan berhenti saat tekanan pada alat melebihi 110 PSI. Hasilnya, alat ini mampu mengubah air baku dengan nilai TDS 743-404 ppm menjadi dibawah 300 ppm, sehingga dapat dikategori-kan baik untuk diminum. Terdapat beberapa eror saat pengambilan data sensor antara lain 2,51% untuk pressure transmitter, 4,46% untuk flow meter, 1,32% untuk HC-SR04 dan 3,08% untuk sensor TDS. Eror dapat disebabkan oleh eletron dalam air yang mempengaruhi pem-bacaan sensor.

Water is one of the main needs in daily life and air quality is very important to use in daily life, the most important for drinking. The value of water can be determined through the value of TDS (Total Dis-solved Solid) that is approved in units of ppm (parts per million), air quality is categorized as good for drinking if it has a TDS value below 300ppm. A problem arises where the quantity of household water (PDAM water or well water used for bathing, etc.) is bad in the Sura-baya area which has a TDS value of 350-500 ppm. In this Final Project, entitled "Designing and Monitoring Desal-ination". This tool is used to reduce household water TDS values until the air quality produced is categorized as good for drinking. The sys-tem is used, when the sensor detects the water pump will be activated and processed by raw water. The pump will stop when the pressure on the tool is over 110 PSI. How, this tool can change raw water with a TDS value of 743-404 ppm to below 300 ppm, so it can be scratched well to drink. There are some data when taking data sensors between 2.51% for pressure transmitters, 4.46% for flow meters, 1.32% for HC-SR04 and 3.08% for TDS sensors. Sensors can affect air sensors that affect sensor readings.
