Abstract
Gas Engine Compressor adalah salah satu unit yang berperan penting dalam CNG plant adalah, dimana terbagi menjadi subsystem yaitu gas engine dan compressor yang merupakan satu kesatuan sistem yang saling terintegrasi dalam pemrosesan Compressed Natural Gas (CNG). Gas compressor merupakan sistem yang menunjang proses kompresi serta distribusi gas. Fungsi gas dikompresi yaitu untuk mengurangi volumetric gas dan meningkatkan energi kalor gas tersebut. CNG plant harus dijaga agar dapat bekerja sesuai dengan fungsinya. Sebagai komponen yang beresiko besar mengalami kegagalan maka harus diterapkan pemeliharaan yang tepat. Proses pemeliharaan (maintenance) merupakan kegiatan atau usaha untuk menjaga agar komponen terus memberikan nilai fungsi yang optimal selama masa kerjanya. Reliability, availability, maintainability sebagai tujuan utama dilakukan proses pemeliharaan. Berdasarkan hasil analisis terdapat 3 sistem dengan nilai reliability R(t) sebesar 0,6 pada Suction SS-101 selama 3150 jam operasional, pada Heat Exchanger HE 103 3rd stage selama 2250 jam operasional, dan pada pipa keluaran Heat Exchanger selama 2750 jam operasional. Rentang waktu tercepat untuk dilakukan preventive maintenance adalah selama 2400 jam pada komponen Temperature Transmitter 501 sedangkan terlama adalah selama 190000 jam pada komponen Safety Valve.

Gas Engine Compressor is one of the units that play an important role in the CNG Plant, which is divided into sub-systems, namely the Gas engine and compressor which is a unified integrated system in the processing of Compressed Natural Gas (CNG). Gas compressors are systems that support the process of compression and gas distribution. The function of compressed gas is to reduce volumetric gas and increase the heat energy of the gas. CNG Plant must be maintained so that it can work in accordance with its function. As a component that has a high risk of failure, proper maintenance must be applied. The maintenance process is an activity or business to maintain that the component continues to provide optimal function values during its working period. Reliability, availability, maintainability as the main purpose of the maintenance process. Based on the analysis there are 3 systems with reliability values R (t) of 0.6 in SS-101 suction during 3150 operating hours, in HE 103 3rd stage heat exchangers for 2250 operating hours, and on heat exchanger output pipes for 2750 operational hours. The fastest time range for preventive maintenance is 2400 hours at the temperature transmitter component 501 while the longest is for 190000 hours on the safety valve component.
