Abstract
Bunga anggrek merupakan salah satu bukti kekayaan flora Indonesia, beberapa jenis bunga anggrek langka, dan belum dapat dibudidayakan serta memiliki harga yang cukup mahal. Perancangan desain visual magnet kulkas bertemakan anggrek Indonesia ini bertujuan untuk memperkenalkan jenis anggrek yang ada di Indonesia dengan seni handcrafting menggunakan bahan dasar polimerclay.
Metode perancangan berupa studi literatur mengenai bunga anggrek, bentuk, warna, komposisi, typografi, dan material polimerclay, observasi ke daerah wisata Kampoeng Anggrek Kediri dengan hasil anatomi bentuk, tekstur dan warna asli anggrek untuk menentukan konsep desain visual souvenir, eksperimental dan depthinterviewe dengan ahli desain souvenir mengenai konsep desain visual souvenir dan validasi rancangan desain akhir souvenir serta melalui proses prototyping dan user testing. Hasil dari metode akan diramu menjadi desain akhir konsep visual souvenir yang akan dibuat.
Luaran yang dihasilkan dari perancangan ini adalah souvenir magnet kulkas bertema anggrek Indonesia, yang mampu membawa identitas anggrek Indonesia untuk lebih dikenal masyarakat luas. Selain sebagai media edukasi, souvenir magnet kulkas bertema anggrek ini mampu menjadi inovasi souvenir masa kini. Souvenir dibuat secara ekslusif dengan kesenian handcrafting yang memberikan informasi identitas anggrek sebagai bunga yang berharga, indah dan layak untuk dilindungi.

An orchidaceous flower is one of the evidence of wealth flora indonesia, unfortunately not many people know and enjoy keanekaragamannya, because some kind of, they are rare not yet be cultivated and has a price was quite expensive.Design visual design refrigerator magnet titled orchids of indonesia is intended to introduce orchid that is in indonesia with art handcrafting use elementary substance polimerclay.
Methods used in the design this is the study competitor and study komparator, a literature review of an orchidaceous flower, the form of, the color of, , composition typografi, and material polimerclay, observations to determine the concept of design, visual souvenirs experimental and depthinterviewe with a design engineer souvenirs of the concept design visual souvenirs and validation draft ultimate design souvenirs and through the process of prototyping and user testing.The result of the method will distilled into the design of the end of the concept of visual souvenirs to be made.
Resulting from this outer design is to create innovation orchid indonesia souvenirs up the theme as the type flora to explored to introduce diversity flora indonesia, educate the public about the orchid growing in indonesia through naming in souvenirs, detail type souvenir resembling flowers native and information brief account of an orchidaceous flower in greetingcard.Souvenir exclusive art made in with handcrafting provides information orchid valuable identity as a flower, beautiful and worthy to protected.
