Abstract
Peningkatan pertumbuhan ekonomi di kota-kota besar Indonesia berpengaruh terhadap kebutuhan alat transportasi setiap individu. Salah satunya adalah seperti di Kota Batu. Kota Batu merupakan sebuah kota kecil yang terletak di sebelah barat Kota Malang. Kota Batu terletak pada dataran tinggi sehingga sebagian wilayahnya terdiri dari bukit dan lereng. Selain itu, Kota Batu merupakan daerah yang terkenal dengan pariwisatanya. Batu mempunyai 30 destinasi wisata yang terdiri dari wisata alam dan buatan. Jumlah wisatawan kota ini selalu mengalami peningkatan setiap tahun. Sehingga jumlah kendaraan dan kepadatan lalu lintas di kota ini juga terus meningkat. Hal ini tentunya akan berdampak pada peningkatan polusi udara. Berdasarkan data tersebut disimpulkan bahwa transportasi alternatif seperti sepeda sangat berpeluang untuk diterapkan di kota ini. Dilakukan beberapa metode untuk pencarian data primer maupun sekunder, mulai dari observasi, interview kepada stakeholder, shadowing, hingga studi literatur. Dari data yang diperoleh, dapat dianalisa dan ditentukan kebutuhan dari penelitian ini. Perancangan sepeda ini juga mesti berbasis pada penggunaan teknologi listrik untuk efisiensi tenaga pengguna serta memaksimalkan jarak tempuh. Hasil dari perancangan ini nantinya diharapkan dapat menjadi alternatif sarana penunjang mobilitas wisatawan Kota Batu. Selain itu, diharapkan desain sepeda nantinya dapat menjadi branding dari Kota Batu sendiri.

Increased economic growth in Indonesia's big cities has an effect on the transportation needs of each individual. One of them is like in Batu City. Batu City is a small city located west of Malang City. Batu City is located on a plateau so that part of the area consists of hills and slopes. Apart from that, Batu City is an area famous for its tourism. Batu has 30 tourist destinations consisting of natural and artificial tourism. The number of tourists in this city always increases every year. So that the number of vehicles and the density of traffic in this city also continues to increase. This certainly will have an impact on increasing air pollution. Based on these data it was concluded that alternative transportation such as bicycles is very likely to be applied in this city. Several methods are used to search for primary and secondary data, starting from observation, stakeholder interviews, shadowing, to literature studies. From the data obtained, it can be analyzed and determined the needs of this study. The design of this bicycle must also be based on the use of electrical technology for user power efficiency and maximizing mileage. The results of this design are expected to be an alternative means of supporting tourist mobility in Batu City. In addition, it is expected that the design of bicycles can later be a branding from Batu City itself.
