Abstract

Kapal Tempur Bawah Air (KTBA) memerlukan sistem navigasi yang dilengkapi sensor magnetometer untuk menentukan arah mata angin dari kapal tersebut dengan memberikan sudut orientasi heading dari kapal yang sedang beroperasi. Magnetometer mendapatkan gangguan dari hard iron effect dan soft iron effect yang mengakibatkan nilai heading dari sensor menjadi tidak linier pada sudut acuan kompas analog dengan presentase kesalahan sebesar 39,16%. Untuk mengatasinya maka dilakukan metode kalibrasi hard iron dan soft iron. Setelah dilakukan metode kalibrasi, presentase kesalahan pada nilai heading yang dihasilkan mengalami penurunan menjadi 3,8%. Agar presentase kesalahan semakin menurun maka ditambahkan solusi dengan menggunakan metode multiple magnetometer sensor. Namun sebelum melakukan metode multiple magnetometer sensor, kedua sensor tersebut dilakukan metode kompensasi kemiringan dan metode Exponential Filter. Setelah dilakukan metode kompensasi kemiringan dan metode Exponential Filter, presentase kesalahan semakin menurun mencapai 2,25% dengan nilai kesalahan sudut orientasi heading terbesar adalah 40 sehingga dapat memperbaiki kesalahan pada sudut orientasi heading yang digunakan untuk menentukan arah mata angin ketika kapal sedang beroperasi.

Kapal Tempur Bawah Air (KTBA) require a navigation system equipped with a magnetometer sensor to determine the direction of the wind from the ship by providing the heading orientation angle of the ship in operation. The magnetometer gets interference from hard iron effect and soft iron effect which results in the heading value of the sensor being non-linear in the analog compass reference angle with an error percentage of 39.16%. To overcome this, a hard iron and soft iron calibration method is performed. After the calibration method, the percentage of errors in the resulting heading value has decreased to 3.8%. So that the percentage of error decreases, a solution is added using the multiple magnetometer sensor method. But before performing the multiple magnetometer sensor method, the two sensors are made by the tilt compensation method and the Exponential Filter method. After the slope compensation method and the Exponential Filter method, the error percentage has decreased to 2.25% with the largest heading orientation angle error value being 40 so that it can correct errors at the heading orientation angle used to determine the direction of the wind when the ship is operating.
