Abstract

Dalam menunjang produktivitas dan performa mesin sangatlah diperhatikan. Salah satunya upaya melakukan perbaikan secara terus menerus demi menunjang hasil produk yang berkualitas dan proses produksi berjalan lancar. Namun adanya Over Wrapping yang tidak lengkap sering kali dijumpai pada proses produksi yang menyebabkan diskualifikasi pada produk yang dihasilkan dan tentunya mengambat proses produksi. Dari permasalahan tersebut perlu adanya alat yang mampu mendeteksi kualitas jumlah dan kondisi dari Over Wrapping. Tujuannya agar Over Wrapping ini mampu dideteksi sejak dini dan diseleksi berdasarkan kualitasnya. Sehingga permasalahan Over Wrapping yang kurang bisa teratasi dengan baik . Pada alat ini dibuat pendeteksi defect atau kerusakan Over Wrapping pada mesin packing line menggunakan sensor jarak. Pada perancangan ini dibuat dengan menggunakan 3 sensor jarak yang dipasang sejajar dengan posisi Over Wrapping dengan tujuan mampu mendeteksi produk. Selain itu, perancangan dilengkapi dengan sistem seleksi produk dengan menggunakan pneumatic silinder dan solenoid yang mampu mendorong produk ketika error. Penambahan indikator lampu juga diperuntukan sebagai pemberitahuan dari kualitas produk yang dihasilkan. Pada alat ini juga ditambahkan Wifi platfom bertujuan untuk monitoring produk guna mempermudah tim dalam pencatatan jumlah produk yang dihasilkan. Dari hasil pembuatan dan pengujian didapatkan alat mampu berjalan sesuai dengan perancangan yang dibuat. Dimana tingkat keberhasilan didapatkan sebesar (89,9%) pada keseluruhan sistem.

Supporting engine productivity and performance is very much noticed. One of the efforts is to make continuous improvements to support quality product results and the production process runs smoothly. But the existence of incomplete Over Wrapping is often found in the production process which causes disqualification of the products produced and of course inhibits the production process. From these problems it is necessary to have a tool that is able to detect the quality of the number and conditions of Over Wrapping. The tool goals is that Over Wrapping can be detected early and selected based on its quality. Therefor, the problem of Over Wrapping that is less can be resolved properly. In this tool, detection of defects or damage to Over Wrapping is made on packing line machines using a proximity sensor. In this design made using 3 proximity sensors that are assambled parallel to the position of Over Wrapping in order to be able to detect the product. In addition, the design is completed with a product selection system using pneumatic cylinders and solenoids that are able to push the product when the product is error. The addition of the indicator lights is also intended as a notification of the quality of the products produced. In this tool also added Wifi Platfom aims to monitor products to ease the team in recording the number of products produced. From the results of the tool that already created and tested is able to run in accordance with the design made. Where the success rate is obtained at (89,9%) in the entire system.
