Abstract

Alat pemanas air (heater) adalah suatu alat yang berfungsi untuk mengubah temperature suatu jenis fluida. Proses tersebut terjadi dengan memanfaatkan proses perpindahan kalor dari fluida temperature rendah menuju fluida temperature tinggi. Output dari fluida bertemperature tinggi tersebut digunakan sebagai supply dari heat exchanger. Pada tugas akhir ini, menggunakan ATMega 16 sebagai kontroler, RTD PT100 sebagai sensor temperatur, dan level float switch sebagai sensor level. Adapun aktuator yang digunakan yaitu electric heater dan relay. Hasil pengukuran ditampilkan dengan menggunakan GUI PC sebagai data akuisisi. Dari hasil percobaan didapatkan bahwa pengukuran dengan RTD PT100 memiliki ketidakpastian sebesar ± 0.4653. Dari hasil pengujian yang telah dilakukan sistem pengendalian temperatur heater memiliki performasi yaitu settling time sebesar 129 menit 40 detik, maksimum overshoot 8%, error steady state sebesar 0.02, dan rise time sebesar 29 menit 30 detik.

Water heater is a device that serves to change the temperature of a type of fluid. The process occurs by utilizing the heat transfer process from low temeperature fluid to high temperatur fluid. The output of high temperature fluid is used as the supply of the heat exchanger. In this final project, using ATMega 16 as a controller, RTD PT100 as a temperature sensor, and float switch level as a level sensor. The actuators are electric heater and relay. The measurement result are displayed using the HMI PC as data acquisition. From the result of the experiment it was found that measurements with PT100 RTD had uncertainties of ± 0.4653. from the results, the temperature control heater has a performance that is settling tik of 129 minutes 40 seconds, maximum overshoot 8%, steady state error of 0.02, and rise time of 29 minutes 30 seconds.
