Abstract

Masyarakat kesulitan dalam penyaluran air untuk irigasi dan kebutuhan air sehari-hari. Perbedaan ketinggian permukaan dan jarak sumber air yang jauh menjadi masalah utama masyarakat. Permasalahan ini dapat diatasi salah satunya menggunakan pompa spiral hidrostatis yang ramah lingkungan. Proses pembuatan pompa spiral diawali dengan observasi dan mencari literatur mengenai elemen mesin dan proses manufaktur yang dibutuhkan, kemudian didapat konsep dan desain alat beserta ukuran yang sudah direncanakan. Setelah mendapatkan gambar dan ukuran, dilanjutkan dengan memulai membuat alat. Percobaan dan pengujian alat dilakukan setelah alat dibuat. Perancangan pompa spiral hidrostatis setiap komponen diperlukan proses manufaktur meliputi: shaping processes, surface processing operations, permanent joining processes, and mechanical fastening. Sehingga didapatkan waktu pembuatan 18,2 jam dengan biaya produksi yaitu Rp 5.311.567. Pompa spiral hidrostatis ini menggunakan kincir air jenis undershot Ø1,26 m dengan 16 sudu. Pada kedua sisi kincir selang fleksibel 1 inch dililitkan sebanyak 9,13 lilitan. Hasil pengujian debit pompa pada head statis 6 meter adalah 0,2 l/s.

The community has difficulty in channeling water for their daily needs. Differences in altitude and distance from distant air sources are the main problems of the community. This problem can be overcome by using a spiral pump that is environmentally friendly. The process of making a spiral pump begins with observation and searches for literature on the engine elements and manufacturing processes needed, then obtains the concept and design of the equipment related to the agreed size. After getting the picture and size, start by starting to make a tool. Experiments and tool testing are done after the tool is made. Spiral Pump Design Every Required Manufacturing Process Required: forming process, surface processing operation, permanent connecting process, and mechanical binding. Producing obtained 18.2 hours of production with production costs of Rp. 5,311,567. This hydrostatic spiral pump uses undershot type water wheel Ø1.26 m with 16 blades. On both sides of the 1-inch flexible hose wrapped around 9.13 turns. The results of pump testing, The test results of pump discharge on a 6 meter static head are 0.2 l / s.
