Abstract
PT. Biro Klasifikasi Indonesia (BKI) merupakan Badan Klasifikasi Nasional satu satunya di Indonesia. Dalam melakukan bisnis klasifikasinya, BKI harus menujukkan kinerja yang baik dan terpercaya kepada pelanggan dalam menjaga kualitas kapal baik yang baru dibangun maupun yang dalam masa perawatan periodik sesuai ruang lingkup kerja BKI. Dengan iklim bisnis yang semakin dinamis ini, maka dipandang perlu melakukan evaluasi terhadap kinerja perusahaan (BKI) dengan melakukan sebuah analisa kinerja dari berbagai sudut pandang yang konperhensif. Analisa kinerja BKI dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode pendekatan balanced scorecard (BSC) dengan menganalisa kinerja BKI dalam empat perspektif yaitu kesehatan pengelolaan keuangan perusahaan, kepuasan pelanggan, proses bisnis internal, dan perspektif pembelajaran dan pertumbuhan perusahaan. Analisis literatur, kuesioner atau wawancara dan pengolahan data system informasi BKI diterapkan dalam penelitian ini. Kuesioner dilakukan untuk survey internal perusahaan dan eksternal perusahaan, dimana untuk internal perusahaan dilakukan survey terkait dengan kepuasan pegawai, keterikatan pegawai dan pengalaman pegawai sedangkan untuk eksternal perusahaan dilakukan survey kepuasan pelanggan dengan masing masing jumlah minimal responden sesuai dengan sesuai Slovin’s formula dengan batas toleransi kesalahan sebesar 10%. Dengan melakukan analisa kinerja pada empat perspektif balanced scorecard, dihasilkan pengukuran kinerja bisnis pada jasa Klasifikasi BKI sebesar 74.93% atau dalam range penilaian cukup baik. Dari pengukuran tersebut kemudian peneliti lakukan proses identifikasi kinerja BKI yang kurang optimal sehingga pada item item tertentu pada masing masing perspektif yang belum optimal pada tesis ini diberikan usulan perbaikan bisnis dalam pengelolaan jasa klasifikasi di Indonesia dan memberikan pelayanan terbaik untuk para pelanggan kedepannya. PT. Biro Klasifikasi Indonesia (BKI) is the only national classification society in Indonesia. In conducting its classification business, BKI has to show a good and reliable performance to customers in maintaining the vessels' quality of both new building vessels and those in periodic maintenance, related to the scope of work of BKI. This business climate is increasingly dynamic, therefore it is deemed necessary to evaluate the performance of the company (BKI) by conducting a performance analysis from various comprehensive perspectives. The performance analysis conducted in this research uses the Balanced Scorecard (BSC) approach by analyzing performance of BKI in four different perspectives, namely health of corporate financial management, customer satisfaction, internal business processes, and the learning perspective and company growth. Literature analysis, questionnaires or interview, and BKI information system data processing were applied in this research. The questionnaire was conducted to survey the internal and external, from which the company's internal survey was related to employee satisfaction, employee engagement and employee experience while external company carried out a survey of customer satisfaction with each minimal number of respondents in accordance with the appropriate Slovin's formula with the tolerance limits of error of 10%. By performing a performance analysis on four balanced scorecard perspectives, a business performance measurement on BKI Classification services is generated at 74.93% or in a fairly good assessment range. From these measurements the researcher then conducted a process of identifying BKI performance that was not optimal so that certain items in each perspective that were not optimal in this thesis were given proposals for business improvement in the management of classification services in Indonesia and providing the best service for customers in the future.
