Abstract

Pada umumnya sepeda motor yang digunakan di Indonesia menggunakan tipe spark ignition engine berbahan bakar gasoline. Namun ketersediaan gasoline yang tidak dapat diperbarui, memerlukan bahan bakar alternatif lainnya seperti biogas hasil dari limbah peternakan yang mudah didapatkan. Pada Tugas Akhir ini, dilakukan perancangan sebuah sistem kontrol kecepatan pada spark ignition engine kendaraan bermotor menggunakan bahan bakar biogas dengan metode PID. Setelah dilakukan analisis dan pengujian pada sistem simulasi, didapatkan didapatkan respon kecepatan yang stabil dengan nilai maximum overshoot rata-rata di bawah 1 % dan nilai error dibawah 2 % pada setiap nilai set point 400-900 rpm. Selain itu, didiapatkan nilai parameter PID dengan Kp = 120, Ki = 0,1, dan Kd = 15,2. Serta didapatkan hasil data uji yang di mana Semakin tinggi kecepatan yang dihasilkan oleh spark ignition engine kendaran bermotor, maka flowrate udara dan bahan bakar akan meningkat. Untuk kecepatan maksimum yaitu 900 rpm didapatkan flowrate udara sebesar 2,8453 L/min, dan flowrate biogas sebesar 0,1651 L/min. Sedangkan untuk kecepatan minimum didapatkan flowrate udara 2,8453 L/min, dan flowrate biogas 0,0392 L/min.

In general, motorbikes used in Indonesia use a gasoline ignition spark type engine. But the availability of gasoline that cannot be renewed requires other alternative fuels such as biogas that is easily obtained from livestock waste. In this Final Project, a speed control system for a spark ignition engine for motorized vehicles is used to design biogas using the PID method. After analysis and testing on the simulation system, we found a stable speed response with a maximum overshoot value under of 1% and an error value below 2% for each set point value of 400-900 rpm. In addition, PID parameter values were obtained with Kp = 120, Ki = 0.1, and Kd = 15.2. As well as the results of test data obtained where the higher the speed produced by the spark ignition engine motorized vehicle, the air and fuel flowrate will increase. For the maximum speed of 900 rpm the air flowrate is 2.8453 L / min, and the biogas flowrate is 0.1651 L / min. As for the minimum speed, the air flowrate is 2.8453 L / min, and the biogas flowrate is 0.0392 L / min .
