Abstract

PT. PJB UP Gresik merupakan perusahaan yang bergerak di bidang pembangkitan listrik. Salah satu jenis pembangkit listrik yang ada di PT. PJB UP Gresik adalah Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Gas dan Uap (PLTGU). Pada PLTGU tersebut terdapat tiga blok yang setiap bloknya terdiri dari tiga turbin gas dan satu turbin uap. Salah satu komponen yang ada di PLTGU adalah pompa LPBFP (Low Pressure Boiler Feed Pump). Komponen ini berfungsi untuk menyalurkan air dari deaerator menuju ke LP Drum (Low Pressure Drum). Untuk bisa menyalurkan air sesuai dengan kebutuhan proses produksi, maka diperlukan pemilihan pompa yang tepat. Pada tugas akhir ini dilakukan perencanaan ulang dan pemilihan pompa yang sesuai untuk instalasi pompa LPBFP (Low Pressure Boiler Feed Pump). Perhitungan head, kapasitas, daya pompa dan NPSHA dilakukan secara analitis dan numerik menggunakan software Pipe Flow Expert. Berdasarkan analisis dan perhitungan ulang, maka diketahui kapasitas yang harus disalurkan oleh tiap satu pompa sebesar 64,998 m3/jam dan didapatkan nilai head efektif instalasi (Heff) sebesar 119,214 m, didapatkan nilai daya pompa sebesar 38,985 kW serta nilai NPSHA sebesar 14,513 m. Sehingga dari hasil perhitungan tersebut dapat dipilih pompa sentrifugal bertingkat satu, merk Grundfos End Suction Pump type NKG 80-50-315/300.

PT. PJB UP Gresik is a company which move in electricity generation. The one of power plants type in PT. PJB UP Gresik is Gas and Steam Power Plant (PLTGU). In that Gas and Steam Power Plant there are three blocks in which each block has three gas turbines and one steam turbine. The one of components that exist in Gas and Steam Power Plant is Low Pressure Boiler Feed Pump (LPBFP). This component serve to distribute demineralized water from deaerator to Low Pressure Drum (LP Drum). To be able distributing demineralized water in accordance with the needs of the production process, so it is necessary to select the appropriate pump. On this final project is carried out the redesign and selection of pump that is proper for the installation of Low Pressure Boiler Feed Pump. The calculation of effective head (Heff), capacity, pump power and NPSHA is carried out with analytically calculation by the author and numerically calculation by Pipe Flow Expert software. Based on analysis and recalculation, can be known the capacity that must be distributed by each pump is 64,998 m3/hour and the effective head (Heff) that is obtained is 119,214 m, the pump power is 38,985 kW and NPSHA is 14,513 m. Thus, from the results of those calculations can be selected the single stage centrifugal pump, brand of Grundfos End Suction Pump type NKG 80-50-315/300.
